A North Texas fitness trainer, who nearly died from COVID-19, says he regrets putting off getting vaccinated.
Antonio Rodriguez never thought he’d get COVID-19.
The 44-year-old owns Toro Sports Performance gym in Weatherford.
“I train athletes. I stay pretty active. I hardly ever get sick. I don’t get the flu or colds. I don’t even have allergies,” said Antonio Rodriguez.
He finally decided to get vaccinated.
But he tested positive for COVID-19 a few days before his appointment.

It’s a no from me.
Just because Germany has threatened you labour camp for not being vaccinated doesn’t mean you have to push it onto Americans.
Waiiíiiiiiit... nah. Still a hard NO.
:-)
Agree.
I think they just change the name and location.

Well, there you have it... a total idiot.
Got vaccinated AFTER he got infected? That’s why he almost died.
Now he’ll die anyway.
If there were a vaccine.
So they immediately started treating him with Ivermectin protocols and he was discharged after a few days.
No thanks. I’ll take my chances.
Yep.
Especially since he’s already had the china flu.
He just erased his natural immunity, from what I’ve read....not to mention, well, potential adverse effects.
They should make a Lifetime Movie about the story.
More anecdotes.
My anecdote is that I got it and it wasn’t pleasant, mostly horrid fatigue, but I got past it in 2 weeks. Also along with me my household and elderly mother and her live-in nephew. We were all sick to some degree but got past it within that time frame.
Of course, my other anecdote is that my MIL died from it shortly after (not connected to our infections). So I can see how it can be dangerous, but most of my experience says it’s not the Black Plague.
Not the way it reads. I’m sure he got the results prior and was even forced to cancel (another effect of hysteria…as a patient they don’t want you around if you have it, UNLESS you’re dying.
Or maybe a sincere experience from someone who has actually had the disease.
I have an older female relative who had the vaccine, yet later got COVID and was unconscious for four days in the hospital.
I prefer to hear stories from covid survivors, like Rand Paul, who now have the antibodies and are living a life without fear of covid.
That’s paranoid.
Uh, sure. I could be 'a sincere' storyteller myself if the price was right. 9 of my close family members here have been hit with Covid in the last 30 days. A household of 5, all vaxxed, got it. The other 4 was another household where a boyfriend introduced it to the house.
Now, where can I get my paycheck explaining how scared I was and decided to get vaxxed? Oh, wait...they haven't produced a vaxx that isn't based on murdered fetal tissue yet.
