After being kept off the stage for months and months, Kid Rock is very happy to be entertaining his fans live and in-person once again.
The very popular rock star took to social media to share his feelings about touring, 2020, and more this week. And in true Kid Rock fashion, his message was as brutally honest as he can be.
His social media message came out after he, unsurprisingly, rocked out on the Buffalo Chip Main Stage during the 2021 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota.
Kid Rock opened his Monday, Aug. 9, an Instagram post reflecting on what it has been like to be someone who spends so much of their professional time performing live in front of thousands and thousands of people. In addition to the comments he shared in the caption, the post included a photo of Kid Rock on stage in front of what appears to be a thrilled crowd of fans. You can’t see the rocker’s face. However, it’s obvious that he is enjoying his time in front of the packed house.
“People have asked me many times during this pandemic if I missed the road and performing,” Kid Rock honestly shared. “Somedays I did, somedays I did not.”
However, like most of us, the famous rocker didn’t realize he loved something until it was gone. And, performing as a headliner at the 2021 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally reminded him of how lucky he is to do what he does for a living.

Kid Rock has the same fan base as Eminem does. 1990s white boys from the ‘burbs who grew up into Trump voters. Unlike Eminem, Kid Rock knows who made him rich and doesn’t feel the need to insult them. He appreciates his fans.

Sturgis, with bikers literally spread over hundred of square miles, many outside, is obviously a super speader event. Obama hosting several hundred Democrats at close quarters, many without masks (based on the pictures that came out) inside a big tent is obviously not, just a well-deserved celebration. Can’t you see the difference?
