January 6 defendants appear to have practically no shot at a fair trial in Washington, D.C. Some judges are finally pushing back.
t’s been almost seven months since the FBI conducted a pre-dawn raid at the Virginia farm of Thomas and Sharon Caldwell. Dozens of armed agents broke down their front door, ransacked their home, and arrested Tom Caldwell on January 19. A week later, a grand jury indicted Caldwell and two other alleged Oath Keepers for various crimes related to their participation in the Capitol protest on January 6.
Despite the fact Caldwell never entered the building, carried no weapon, and assaulted no one, the Justice Department sought to keep the 66-year-old former Navy lieutenant with service-related disabilities in jail awaiting trial. Caldwell, a decorated military veteran, has no criminal record.
Nonetheless, on February 12, Judge Amit Mehta ordered Caldwell to remain behind bars: “What Mr. Caldwell is accused of is conspiring with others to plot an insurrection against the government of the United States, particularly the Congress of the United States, while it was attempting to certify the Electoral College vote,” Mehta said during Caldwell’s detention hearing.
“So the concern with Mr. Caldwell is less what he specifically did on January 6th, like others,” Mehta continued. “It doesn’t look like he actually entered the Capitol building, didn’t assault any police officers. But what he did prior to January the 6th is clearly engage in planning and preparation for conduct that others were engaged in and that others participated in, in the incursion that took place at the Capitol and the violence that followed.”
Caldwell interrupted the hearing to plead for mercy. “I beg your indulgence, sir. But my life hangs in the balance.”
Caldwell spent 50 days in jail before Mehta reversed himself on March 12

No one seems to be mentioning the ANTIFA and BLM infiltrators, and none of them is being charged. Any accidentally arrested were released.
Make it simple, demand that all informants make themselves available for deposition within 10 days and part 2. demand they and present any and all evidence turned over to the Government!

During the height of the riots in Minneapolis last year, I watched on live TV as the National Guard and Mpls Police surrounded about 65 rioters in a parking lot. Among the rioters were about 15-20 black-uniformed, masked, backpack carrying people. The Guard and Police stood motionless for about 15 minutes, the reporter saying that they were “waiting for a bus to arrive to take away the cornered rioters”. Finally, the 15-20 people who were obviously Antifa made a break for it and climbed over the high chainlink fence on the back end of the parking lot. It was ONLY after the last one had cleared the top of the fence that the Guard and Police moved in and began “arresting” the other, mostly older, fatter rioters.
There is such an obvious difference in the handling of Antifa and Black Lies Matter rioters and the January 6th people who, using the Media-Dem Party’s favorite description, “mostly peaceful”. They are so drunk on power that they flaunt their power and rub our noses in it.

The DOJ knows the election is rigged and they are covering it up. PURE EVIL. The states secretary’s of state and the state attorneys general are the CCPs prime target and they have several of them in their pocket’s. The DOJ knows this and those in charge at the DOJ are letting the corruption and destruction of our nation go unabated. PURE EVIL.

Because the elite at the top of “our side” are in on it. Mitch, Kevin, Lindsey, Paul Ryan, Romney ...and about 50 others at the very top of “our side” are in on it. They sold out to the CCP... they may think they sold out to a globalist elite club, but in fact and effect they sold out to the CCP and they are quickly figuring that out. Running for reelection is hard, it is much easier for them to join the club and let the players play...I think they know that they are corrupted beyond redemption and now they have no choice. I hope they are trying to unwind the watch they put on, but I think they have given in and are going to allow us to be destroyed as a nation before they give up their influence and power. For them it is better that history is erased rather than have a vibrant America; which will hold them accountable for their duplicity in CCPs planned destruction and subjugation of our nation. The CCP plays for keeps and they aren’t going to let their pets off the leash.

Conspiracy; Obstruction of an Official Proceeding and Aiding and Abetting; Destruction of Government Property and Aiding and Abetting; Entering and Remaining in a Restricted Building or Grounds; Tampering with DocStauments or Proceedings
No word of insurrection in the charges nor in the charges of all the other defendants.
