I’m going to say a test of iq at infancy is junk science.
At very top of article mentions that it was 3 month olds that were tested.
IQ is junk science.
Referring to the measured cognitive ability of an infant as IQ does seem to be quite presumptive. However, the people who keep track of early childhood development would certainly be able to spot problems. So, I would not write off this report as bogus.
uh, i don’t know anything about this test, but it doesn’t say iq. it says verbal development quotient. that is at least plausible as infants start following their mom’s voice, facial expressions, verbal cues and baby talk from the get go.
My first thought. How does one give an IQ test to a three month old?
I'm NOT going to go out on a limb and say you're right. It's junk science.
Unbelievable what passes for "science" these days isn't it?
On this we agree.
