I guess I was wrong.
Just a while ago on another thread I wrote that the Taliban will take Kabul in a week, and that we will be re-living the fall of Saigon, despite Joe’s protestations to the opposite.
Maybe they will be helicoptering people off the embassy roof in 3-4 days instead of the 7 I predicted.

I laughed yesterday every time one of the Fox News breaks on talk radio said the US “experts” had revised their estimates of Kabul falling from six months to three months. Days, not months, I thought each time.

I don’t really care what they do over there. It is what the ones that Democrats bring over here do or intend to do that concern me.
But Slow Joe asked them pretty please not to destroy our embassy.
He told them they would want it so we could give them ‘foreign aid’ money from US taxpayers.
Isn’t that nice?
If they won’t defend themselves who should?
Hopefully we’ll get our people out of the embassy in time unlike Benghazi.
Once more we are leaving only to supply our enemies with bases and equipment. Yes, it will be another Vietnam scene. Yes, we will once more leave people high and dry to be slaughtered. And yes, I feel sorry for loved ones of those who perished fighting there. Thankfully they were fighting more for their brothers in arms. We only made it worse all around by not leaving when we accomplished our mission long ago after 9-11.
I heard on different news breaks on two different radio stations yesterday that experts were estimating it would take 60 to 90 days for them to take kabul. Looks like 60 to 90 hours would have been more accurate.
My first thoughts is, who is providing logistical support for them?
The answer I am sure our intelligence knows.
But maybe no one is. Maybe the taliban is that good.
That’s a testament to how good our military was for twenty years, in a remote, rough, and very large country against forces that have over for decades of practice at asymetric warefare.
In the meanwhile, Hillary roams wild and free and wide and free . While actual Patriots are locked in dog kennels in the Washington, D.C. jail. Going through only God knows tortures. But this is the America the People wanted. And the one they got.
Not a big deal apparently. It is now 8 am and the news reports that Biden has left Washington for a “vacation” in Delaware.
Taliban will celebrate their victory on 9/11/21.
In general, I’d say the American people really don’t care about the disgraceful fall of Kabul and the Vietnam-like evacuation of our embassy. They’ve got their cell phones, video games, social media, food in their bellies, and a roof over their head. Oh yeah, Orange Man Bad is gone so they’re feeling good about that too.
Better get the helicopters in to evacuate.
