SAN ANTONIO – As their only child, Yvonne Rodriguez said she made sure her parents Patricio and Sylvia Elizondo were vaccinated early on against COVID-19.
After her mother passed away three months ago after a long illness, Rodriguez said she continued watching over her 76-year-old father who was diabetic and had heart problems.
“We did all the right things,” Rodriguez said.
She said he rarely left the house, was always masked up, and even wore gloves, so she doesn’t know how or where he caught COVID-19.

Yes, seriously. If he hadn’t been “vaccinated,” he might have died twice or even three times.
Even when you do “all the right things”, you can’t live forever.
“… Patterson said the reported 43 breakthrough deaths out of nearly 9,000 deaths in Texas since February, “were in people who had underlying conditions and were very elderly.”
Rudy Arispe, spokesman for the Metropolitan Health District, said of the more 1,500 deaths last week, only four were fully vaccinated.
“All had severe underlying medical conditions and other factors that contributed,” Arispe said.
Although the Delta variant is much more transmissible, Patterson said “We do know that the vaccine is highly effective against hospitalizations and death the majority of the time.”…”

In the 2nd paragraph of this extract, I strongly suspect that the 1,500 figure referred to hospitalizations.
Yeah, he would have been superdead.
Instead he was just regular dead since the jab reduced the effects...
Another poor man who was probably denied therapeutic drugs in the first stages.
These “medical professionals” take an oath that begins: “First, do no harm”.
How do they live with themselves?
their pay check is what they live for. their oath is just a means to pay check.
“so she doesn’t know how or where he caught COVID-19.”
maybe one of you family members brought it to him?
She said he rarely left the house, was always masked up, and even wore gloves, so she doesn’t know how or where he caught COVID-19.
really?...... you mean the mask, gloves, and locked doors didn’t stop it? Geeezus
sounds like he was pretty much dead over a year ago
Hyperbole has been the order of the day ever since the pandemic got heated up. Lockdowns have been justified because “countless lives were saved” thanks to their actions. Donald Trump even got into the act by putting a number to the “countless lives” theory, counting them at 100 million. Even the most widely exaggerated study puts American Covid deaths at 900,000, almost 60% higher than official figures. So that number would be 100,900,000 if it wasn’t for Operation Warp Speed? Please. Yet one FReeper is actually using Trump’s figure and claiming you aren’t Conservative or hate Trump if you don’t believe it.
People are losing their minds, not over a virus but over the possibility that other people might not be taking the virus as seriously as they do. What a sad way to go through life.
There’s line I was looking for, they always insert it.
“Yet despite the heartache and loss, Rodriguez said she still believes in the vaccines.”
Masks don’t work, so there’s that.
I’m not easily brainwashed, but it seems a lot are
Trump is not as smart as he thinks he is; or he is just lying.
I have nothing to base my opinion on, but I’m thinking that these vaccines are just setting people up for a worse case when they encounter the virus, not an easier one. Just a thought.
That “vaccine” is such an adorable wonder worker!
In a few months, we’re going to see the real flu numbers kick in. Hopefully the hospitals will report accurately and not monetarily this coming season.
