Subway franchisees across the country are demanding that ads featuring soccer star Megan Rapinoe be dropped because of her anti-American antics. Her stint as a pitchwoman for Subway began this spring.
Subway Franchises Blast Rapinoe Rapinoe has been hired as a spokesperson for Subway despite the fact that she is known as the Colin Kaepernick of the women’s soccer world. She regularly takes a knee during the national anthem before soccer games.
A Wisconsin Subway operator recently took to the discussion forum of the North American Association of Subway Franchisees to post a photo of a hand-scrawled note from an irate customer taped to the front door of his shop.
“Boycott Subway Until Subway fires the anti-American POS Megan Rapinoe, the creep who kneels for our beloved National Anthem!” the note read. “TAKE AMERICA back from the Godless REPROBATES!”

Subway was in bed with Michelle Obama to fix their menu, just like she did with the schools. When it became public they dropped it. I have not eaten there since and will not.
I also occasionally used Subway in the past. Some combinations I like as well as the wider range of veggies than most chain subshops.
However, they burned the bridge with me over this insult to Americans.

I know I stopped buying there when the disgusting “Thing” became the spokesman.
I’m a little bit torn about this:
1. Rapinoe can ESAD as far as I’m concerned, but
2. The franchises are making corporate feel some heat, and
3. They are small business people who have already been thru a lot staying afloat these last 18 months.
Plenty of other places to get a subpar sandwich.
Sorry they don’t get unlimited chances, their food sucks, their tuna is fake, and their spokesfag was the last straw. No more Subway for me.
I went in for cookies once and noticed those little flying gnats crawling all over them.
The cashier didn’t give a rat’s @ss. I’m quite sure she sold them to less observant customers.
After them hiding Jared and his transgressions, I really never considered it an option for a snack or a lunch. I would rather get a granola bar or some sort of protein bar than to patron them.
Don’t feel entirely sorry for “Post Jared” franchisees. Subway’s extremely bizarre history with Jared should haveen enough for anyone to avoid investing in their product.
Get rid of her.
