My Dr. put me on a statin even though my cholesterol was only 177. She said they have a new formula they use that uses your age, weight, and some other parameters that indicated I was at an elevated risk for a heart attack. I asked her what would happen If I lost 30 lbs, could I skip the statins, she seemed to indicate yes. I am 5'9''and 205. Is anyone familiar with this new formula?
Club crackers are the worst kind of cracker! .................
As a dedicated Saltine Enthusiast, I have to agree. Somewhat.
One thing “they” did, for our own good I’m sure, Saltines no longer have a generous sprinkle of coarse salt on the tops, as God intended. Club Crackers were just fancy Saltines, with butter, I expect. I don’t believe they are as tasty as they once were.
“Chicken In A Bisquit” used to be like Crack, or what I imagine it must be like anyway. I think they were fried in chicken fat, or something like that. And then dusted in chickeny bouillion or something tasty. Whatever it was that they did, they don’t anymore. I tried some recently, and they are “baked”, and now dry and tasteless. Not to mention less food value.
A local restaurant we used to have would put saltines and club crackers in little packets in a basket on the tables with the salt & pepper, for people to eat with their salads.
One day we went in to eat dinner and I noticed they were all gone.
I asked the waitress what happened and she said they had to stop because people were taking ALL the crackers home..............................
