Former President Donald Trump estimated up to 100 million people would have died from COVID-19 without his administration's efforts to spur the development of vaccines.
If not for Operation Warp Speed, which was the name of the Trump administrationâs initiative to develop vaccines quickly to protect the public from the coronavirus, Trump said the health crisis death toll would be similar to that of the Spanish Flu pandemic more than a century ago.
"I think if we didnât come up during the Trump administration with a vaccine you could have 100 million people dead just like you had in 1917. You take the Spanish Flu, 100 million people â up to 100 million people died. I think weâd be in that territory," the former president said in an interview with Fox News host Dan Bongino that aired Saturday night.

I read that several Dems last week or so were crediting Trump with the vax - a definite change in message.
That is worrisome to me as Dems would never credit Trump with anything good. So, i have to wonder, is bad news about the shots about to be made mainstream?

Trump is not talking about deaths directly from COVID-19 itself.
He is talking about the millions who would have died from the lockdowns, mask mandates, depression, suicide, dying from other illnesses because patients are too scared to go to the hospital (or the hospital would have mandated the vaccine which would have been far more deadlier than the vaccines now) and being victims of crime.
Of course, he is NOT going to say that specifically because he does not show his hand.
That's why he created Operation Warp Speed. To short-circuit the Great Reset. The lockdowns, masks, social distancing would have ALL LASTED FOR YEARS.

Our greatest weapon against the coronavirus is Vitamin D: Board-certified pathologist (3.29.21, probably no lucrative government contracts to be made from making vitamin D3 imo.)

I agree with what you say. I love Trump, but this has been a problem for him. He needs to step up and admit these shots are not what he thought they would be.
He will lose votes over this and he can’t seem to see that.

Trump did tout natural remedies and promoted HCQ early on. He got laughed at and villified for it. But he is going to be proven right.
