Here’s the thing.

As did Donald J Trump, right now, Rand Paul is all alone. The fact that he is, says in the loudest of ways, that every other Republican in Congress is full of sh*t. And that’s Jordan, the rest of the ‘so called’ Freedom Caucus, etc.

He’s kryptonite as far as they’re concerned and they want to create as much distance as they can from him, especially the majority, McConnell/McCarthy/RINO/UNIPARTY/GOPe wing of Congress.

One by one or Two by Two, let other members of Congress start standing shoulder to shoulder with Paul and watch what happens. Right now the Dem’s know they’re running sh*t with nothing standing in their way, especially when they know they have loyal foot soldiers in Romney, Murkowski, Collins and all the rest.

But, let Paul do a press conference and let him stand there with some backup, things might get interesting.

I thought Trump would be #1 on their kill list, but Rand might beat him out.

Hardly surprising he gets hardly anything from lobbyists or corporations.

Most of his contributions are from smaller donors

Biggest contributor: Retired individuals.

Between Paul and Gohmert they are probably all that we have.

I loath the rest of the RINOs.

Good post.

Rand Paul is, IMO our best senator. But I have not heard one word in opposition to mandatory vaccinations or vaccine passports from any Republicans in either House.

And interestingly, both are considered “extreme” and “on the fringe”, but about the only ones worth a darn.

So many others campaigned on being legit and have all failed miserably, by intention.

I agree with you. I have not heard one word in opposition to mandatory vaccinations or vaccine passports from any Republicans in either House.

Please correct me if I missed Gohmert’s opposition.

He and his Dad have a lot in common.

Oddly, Ron Paul had a lot of young enthusiastic College student followers. For various reason. I have seen it in action a the State Republican Convention and in public restaurants.

I don’t agree with Rand on everything, but I have a lot of respect for him as he is one of the few senators who stands by his beliefs.

He’s not one that desperately regurgitates what the base wants during elections and then does his corporate donors biding once elected.

Some research shows that Wall St is heavily invested in the drug companies.

Blackrock and Vanguard being some of the heavy hitters. Blackrock has 3 of their execs embedded in CornPops administration. IMHO, they’re the ones calling the shots. Not Harris or anyone else. Harris is a Wall St puppet, as much as anyone. Another FR poster put up some pretty interesting articles about her and Wall St.

Ergo, they all want that Wall St money. They all want that Wall St job like Cantor got. Fantasy to think this, but make a law so Cantor can’t use his connections in DC to get inside info. Watch how fast he’s tossed out on his a$$.

They’re all in the hip pocket of Wall St, the big Hedge Funds and the tech world. It’s how they’re all getting paid.

There was only one person who didn’t play that game and they dispatched him with enthusiastic help from State level government officials in quite a few states.

Yes his father didn’t get anything from lobbyists or corporations either but managed to raise money from a diverse network.

Think he also had big contributions from seniors.

I’m so grateful to them because without that cash the Paul’s would be now here.

It’s not easy to raise the money to run a state-wide campaign which is why many senators sell out (and suck).

Hi.

“I thought Trump would be #1 on their kill list, but Rand might beat him out.”

Three attempts so far. His next door neighbor, shooter at the softball field and getting roughed up (antifa blm) leaving dinner with his wife.

God bless him.

Yes, I know about Blackrock and Vanguard.

So Paul is also compromised?

Rand has stressed he is for choice and against mandates and passports:

‘Speaker Nancy Pelosi — you will not arrest or stop me or anyone on my staff from doing our jobs. We have all either had COVID, had the vaccine, or been offered the vaccine. We will make our own health choices. We will not show you a passport, we will not wear a mask, we will not be forced into random screening and testing so you can continue your drunk with power rein over the Capitol.

President Biden — we will not accept your agencies’ mandates or your reported moves toward a lockdown. No one should follow the CDC’s anti-science mask mandates. And if you want to shutdown federal agencies again — some of which aren’t even back to work fully — I will stop every bill coming through the Senate with an amendment to cut their funding if they don’t come to work. ‘

Correct. A senator with his own mind. Imagine that... /s

Which is exactly why both sides will try and take him out

A Senator, whom I didn’t even know, Hagerty, just said the same thing in conjunction with the vote on the Infrastructure bill.

First time I am seeing him and on the floor of the Senate said he wasn’t there to win a personality contest from Senators, but to serve his constituents.

I loved it. Maybe more of the goofus types will look at them and see how respected they are going to be.

He would make an awesome uber Health Czar in the Trump admin in 2024. Clean out the Aegean stables.
