A 2,700 page monstrosity that they haven’t even read.

I don't know what the "magic number" really is, but I'd like to see laws limited to perhaps 1 page. If that were somehow impossible then, maybe -- maybe -- 10 pages.

Anything more than that is just obfuscation and social engineering, not law-making.

The thousand+ page bills are infuriating and both sides do it time and again.

If the people really want a federal government to do infrastructure then it can easily be one page i.e “we grant each state x billion for y”.

I’m not particularly for it but there you go. It shouldn’t be complicated.

Instead you have a bill stuffed full of pork and who knows what...

I remember a Congressman suggesting that a few years ago, evidently it went no where. Wish I could remember their name.
