It sure helped that he supposedly had covid. He was able to do a silly fake phone townhall and avoid serious questions.

I don’t like Lindsey Graham, never have and never will.
My wife on the other hand likes the SOB.
I don’t get what she like about the guy.
Its quite puzzling actually.

Just buy her fake stuff from now on. Fake jewelry, knock-off clothing, etc. If she complains, just say “Now you know how I feel about Lindsay”. :o)
I honestly think this was in Lindsey’s 2014 election. My memory is good, but cloudy on this issue. It is full of all kinds of trivia unrelated to politics.
The “telephone town hall” which was really a “fake telephone town hall”, did not just recently happen.
Remember when Lindsey told Hannity’s audience, almost weekly, to “ stay tuned “ for all of the corruption revelations against the socialists that he was going to reveal ?
Is anyone still staying “ tuned “ ?
I honestly think Graham is easily swayed by the last strong willed person he talks with. He does not seem to have any underlying principles.
“Stay tuned” sounds to me like a run out the clock type tactic. Not sure if it is intentional or not, but the end result is the same. Nothing gets done; useless talk.

No, there is no recording of the fake town hall. But I can assure you it was fake. Every call was a softball question.
I am not a Mark Sanford supporter, but I listened to his and he got many challenging calls which he handled skillfully.
I was listening on my telephone, waiting to be called on to answer a question, but it soon became quite clear to me that these were only friendly callers.
That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. I do not normally record all my telephone calls.
People are always asking why we keep re-electing Lindsey, and the reason is we have a lot of Republicans in SC who are fine with Lindsey, so long as he is a “Republican” incumbent.
