More likely that the bat hitched a ride on some vehicle headed East.

No record of bats migrating that distance.

In this article from the UK, several are listed which traveled more than 1,400 km, or 870 miles.

Birds and even fish can get caught up in wind spouts and thunderstorms and get carried thousands of miles.
