When did the world become insane? What is the reason for it? Big Brother? Depopulation? Or people in love with control? I don't know and it's driving me nuts. But I've decided I'm tired of complaining about it to my friends and family and I'm willing to put my name on the line. If the woke culture wants to ruin me for speaking the truth, I guess I might as well just get it over with now.
I have been a physician for 24 years, a practicing ENT for 19 years. I have never before seen the medical establishment just stop thinking. Insanity is the new rule, and common sense cannot even be discussed.
From the beginning, 15 days to flatten the curve, I was shocked. We had never done this before, but perhaps this virus was really bad, so I gave the government the benefit of the doubt.
Then came Fauci. He initially said social distancing didn't work, and masks were largely ineffective. But by late March, he pronounced both masking and social distancing necessary. Weird...red flag. But what really hit me was that he went on to say people should use Tinder and Grindr at their own discretion. What? How do you socially distance that? So now I am alarmed.
I started researching the utility of masks. There were very good articles I found — one out of a respiratory center in Chicago, and another a good dental review. I bookmarked both of them. Less than a month later, the dental website was down, replaced by a text saying basically that their information is now irrelevant because of COVID. The Chicago article also had a disclaimer that previously wasn't there saying people shouldn't use their article politically. What? Don't use a scientifically derived article

I am still struck at the oddity of a Dr here who arrogantly proclaimed two things early on that were clearly wrong
1. The CDC indicated that the virus came to the US in 2020 and anyone believing it spreading before then was clueless. the CDC is the know all be all and must be trusted
2. The vaccine was going to prevent the virus from spreading and if you got the vaccine you wouldnt bring Covid home to your loved ones...Even though Pfizer was making no such claim
I dont know the purpose of spreading those mistruths. I suppose arrogance
The medical profession is still winging it when it comes to Covid. I suspect we will see proclamations being made now that turn out to be wrong.
You just have to educate yourself the best you can and hope for the best with whatever decision you make.

Actually, as Nina Teicholz has THOROUGHLY documented with regard to nutrition, the medical community has been bullying and suppressing the crap out of people for 50 years, to prevent the truth from coming out (which is that carbohydrates kill and meat is healthy, particularly fatty red meat)...and millions have needlessly been sickened and/or died early because of them.
What’s going on here with the virus is just more of it.
Take a look at your country. It is running amok. Freely (i.e., without consequence).

It is strange how liberals used to be for freedom speech and the free flow of ideas; even those they disagree with but now, because Marxism, authoritarianism, and just plain evil motives has become the foundation for democrats to work from; censorship is cheered and pushed by the left.
What caused this great change in this leftist mentality? Can it be as simple as their desire to control everyone with their version of what is right which we know is almost 100% wrong?

That’s because our government no longer functions as intended. The entire system has been transformed into a single party rule. Those elected to serve the people simply do not serve the people. Elections are worse than a third world joke.

I agree with him on all but one point. A large apology could never be okay in this instance. What they have done are crimes against humanity. I’m sorry will not do.

Actual political liberals just wound up being useful idiots for the left and are now mostly being discarded (canceled) if they don’t transition to Marxism.
And I do think it is just that simple: They have an insatiable desire to control the world. Communism’s vision is ultimately a desire to storm the gates of the Garden of Eden. To bring humanity to a perfect state of existence, not as a gift of God but as an act of human will. It is to attain a secular heaven.
But that angel with the flaming sword is still there, and the harder they try to get in, the more people have to die. But they believe the end result of their vision is worth any cost.
