COVID-19 cases in children are up 84 percent in the past week, a new study from the American Academy of Pediatrics [AAP] reported on Wednesday, with 72,000 new instances of the virus reported as of July 29, up from 39,000 cases reported the week prior.
AAP said it had teamed up with Children’s Hospitals of America to help collect and share data about pediatric cases of the virus, which have been only 14.3 percent of the total cumulative cases, the study says. That share rose to 19 percent for the week ending July 29. Since the pandemic began, 4.2 million children have tested positive for the virus....
The study does note that “it appears that severe illness due to COVID-19 is uncommon among children.”...
...Among the 23 states and New York City reviewed by AAP, children’s hospitalizations made up 1.3 – 3.5 percent of .....

Well, if the numbers are "phony" and the responses are "hysteria", it's not much of an attack then, is it?
Of course I still consult with and value my personal doctor's opinions and recommendations (though not always agreeing with them ... nothing new with that), but as to what spews forth every hour of every day from the CDC, NIH, AMA, WHO and on and on and on I consider not as "science" but as "political science." This presumption clarifies the things they do, the pronouncements they make and their motivations for doing so.
And we kill roughly 250 children every year transporting them to and from public school.
This whole thing is nonsense.
just after “vaccinations” started for children... hmmmm...
A body count isn’t necessary for our government to collapse. Perhaps you noticed 😷
IMHO, “Cases” — by itself is ABSOLUTELY MEANINGLESS.
“Cases” For 99.9997% of them, it’s no worse than a cold.
This is merely more fear porn
There are no variants.
in Calif, Repeat positives of the same patient count as one case with repeat tests. Probables I don’t think are even referred to outside a hospital setting, because they’re not counted as cases until lab confirmation, not just a swab test. Asymptomatics are counted as cases because only 20-30% of asymptomatics remain that way.

you’re confusing ‘survival’ with ‘good as new’. People may ‘survive’ a car wreck, but they may still have a broken leg or ruptured spleen or crushed thorax.
(quotes reversed in order)
” Most children with covid will make a complete recovery, but up to 10 percent, including those with mild illness not requiring hospital admission, go on to develop months-long symptoms of long covid.”
“as we learned last year, even asymptomatics can have organ damage from a covid infection.Over the course of the pandemic, our hospital system has diagnosed more than 15,000 children and adolescents with covid — a number that is trending up. About 10 percent of them have required hospital admission. Up to one-third of children admitted to our hospital have required critical care — including oxygen delivered through high-flow nasal cannula, noninvasive ventilation, and intubation with mechanical ventilation. When I discharge children from the hospital, I know that many of them have a long road to recovery, and many will require follow-up for cardiac clearance and long-term care in our hospital’s long-covid clinic. “

I have been looking at headlines and I’m seeing sharp rises in cases everywhere, from the Netherlands to, of all places, Cuba.
Tokyo is breaking records and just locked down an entire Greek swimmng team. Iran is going nuts again, Melbourne locked down for the 6th time, China welded another city and Beijing is on lockdown, India now at 31M cases, only 5M off the US.
Arkansas is paying $25K bonus for nurses; they’re desperate. Calif hospitals have the novacancy signs out again. How ever Delta is spreading it’s a fast little bugger turning up everywhere and making a pest of itself.
What I haven’t been seeing is any headlines or even bylines about of child deaths, so I think worldwide they’re doing ok, but they are getting sick:
The Sun had an article talking about ‘younger’ patients but it never said what specific age group. No big surprise since we already know that asymptomatics can get organ damage and not know it.

The US reported 112,279 new cases yesterday - the highest since Jan/Feb. confirmed cases are now 1/10 of the population; Bucks NBA champ game was a superspreader event. So was Rolling Loud.
That’s where we’re at today, folks. It’s a chinese finger puzzle. Just when we take a breath and think we’re free, the squeeze is back

And yet, none of the stuff you quoted isn’t also completely applicable to people doped up on the government’s experimental drugs.
just curious, will you stand by your guns and refuse the very experimental, off-label in-hospital treatments if you get sick? Or will you not care about the ‘experimental’ label then?

It’s a risk/benefit equation. I’m not in a high-risk group. Seems to me the risk outweighs the benefit. It’s really just as simple as that.
My wife had inflammatory breast cancer. She was extraordinarily lucky that the initial doctor she saw for it recognized it immediately, since it doesn’t present the way most breast cancer does. We were willing to try stuff that we probably otherwise would not have because it is such an aggressive thing. As an adult, you weigh things out and do what you feel is necessary.
I will say though, that my overall opinion of the medical profession in general was not really helped much by the whole process. It really is more accurately described as a ‘practice’ of medicine than a ‘science’, IMO.
In this particular situation, it really does not help that the entire medical establishment seems to be more interested in propaganda than science. Only a fool trusts someone who lies to them.
