Andrew Zimmern always said that animals often taste like what they eat.
Steaks taste like grain, as most choice meats are grain fed. Hay, I guess, is taste neutral.
It is my experience, that most water animals, like otters, frogs, snakes etc. taste fishy.
I have never tasted penguin, and have never heard anybody tasting it and describing the taste. So my guess would be some kind of oily, fishy taste, maybe like an eel.
I have tasted eel. It was served to me like an expensive delicacy. I hated it, but had to pretend to like it!
There is a show on Netflix, Our Planet, which talked about an increase in penguin populations because of increased amounts of ice-free ground on which to nest.
It is not like animals don’t adapt. They have brains and can adjust to the environment accordingly.
I will state with 100% certainty that every emperor penguin living today will be dead in 2100.
We’re still waiting on Algore’s global flood.
Millions of children alive now will likely be alive in 2100 (a baby born in 2021 will be 78 on Jan. 1, 2100) but very few if any current Freepers will still be alive. Maybe there will be a thread on Free Republic in January 2100 mocking the people who predicted that Emperor penguins would be extinct by then, as countries try to cope with inundations of unwanted Emperor penguins displacing native species.
Penguins with mushroom sauce—the BEST!
Yeah, right, just like the polar bears were gonna go. Their numbers are increasing.
Global warming = lies. Lies to get braindead to support crappola like GreenNewDeal (aka, old commie crappola).
They were cute while they lasted.
Well, we killed off every last one of the polar bears, so now it’s the penguins’ turn.
More like spotted owl. Answering for a friend.
Oh no, not Emperor Penquins... Maybe it will become Dictator Penquins. 🤓
I’ll be extinct by then. 😋
I’m guessing “quasi-extinct” means that they’ll all be gone except for the ones who are still there. Like the polar bears.
Screw the penguins...
I’m still trying to get over my grief about the dinosaurs...
They tried to scare us with the polar bear hoax, but that didn’t work because polar bears turn out to be thriving. They tried to scare us with the Great Barrier Reef, but that won’t work because it turns out the GBR is at all time high flourishing coral life. So now we get the penguin as the next iconic animal they will try to scare us with. Yawn.
Gosh, how have all these species adapted to survive all these centuries without these helpful woke ecopreciousscientismologists to mourn them before the fact?
Since emperor penguins only exist in Antarctica, why would we put it on an endangered species list other than to try to regulate more under globull warming.
