I always liked Kondracke when Fox News started up. Him and Krauthammer were very intellectual, bringing in ideas the other networks lacked. Very good when at convincing us they were even handed but leaned our way on most issues. Now I come to realize he was just just throwing us bones at every step. Trump comes along and gangbusters their ivory tower conservatism. These 'conservatives' are now threatened so they have to take a true color stand. Gonna be awesome my friends.

Something to be said for the guys in the early days of FNC.
One might not always agree with them but they were personable and polite. These days, not so much. Between egos and conquests, the entire lot of them leaves much to be desired.
Mort and personal opinions were seldom in sync, but he was
likeable and had a human quality. Those were the days; unlikely to return.

I wrote elsewhere, that the leftist mania over Trump is based on a delusion that, unlike the German citizens of 1933, THEY were going to stop their Hitler at all costs. It's not too far of a leap to make - they routinely called Trump "Hitler" and a "fascist" and fancy themselves as better than every citizen to grace the planet.
The flip side of that demented coin, is some RINOs also fear that THEY will be on the "wrong side of history" and are codependent enablers, having drunk the Antifa Kook Aid.
Mort seems to be part of that crowd.
