Equinox sent out an email yesterday that only the vaccinated will be allowed in the gym so...bye, Equinox! I will be cancelling my membership tomorrow.

I live and vote in the bluest part of the very Blue state of Maryland.
When I went to vote last November, I handed my registration card and driver’s license to the poll worker, as I’ve always done when I’ve voted in person.
You would have thought I’d presented her with the Mark of the Beast. She wouldn’t touch them, and waved her hands in the air saying, ‘I don’t wanna see that! I don’t wanna see that!”, and just asked for my name and address.
I wondered how in heck she could possibly know that I was who I claimed to be.
But I’m betting that when I vote next time, they’ll demand to see my proof of vaccination - which shots I couldn’t have received without showing official ID.
Go figure...

My wife and I have been voting in Californicator land since 1970.
We have never been asked for our IDs to vote or to turn in our mailed to us ballots.
At the opposite end, getting a so called real driver’s license in California may be about impossible at our DMVs filled with overflow illegals. Which is why many are getting new passports to be able to fly.
November was the first time I’d voted in person in two election cycles. Previously, I’d always given my IDs and they were always examined.
This year, we had to go to a big place outside of our actual neighborhood; the usual folks we used to see manning things at our normal polling place were not there.
But I’m betting that when I vote next time, they’ll demand to see my proof of vaccination - which shots I couldn’t have received without showing official ID.
Go figure...
We had to show photo ids for our first shot and basically just our PPO insurance card with no pic on mine and my wife has her pic on hers (go figure) for our second shot.
I can’t really remember - we were vaccinated at our neighborhood pharmacy where they’d known us for over a decade. But we did have to present picture ID for at least the first shot, and our insurance cards - along with a long form we had to fill out with address info, some health questions, etc.
