Ryan Tannehill didn’t leave any doubt about his vaccination status. The Titans quarterback also made it clear he feels the NFL forced his hand.
“I’m in the process right now of being vaccinated,” Tannehill said, via Terry McCormick of titaninsider.com. “The NFL has kind of made it clear what they want it to happen. If you don’t fall in line, they’re going to try to make your life miserable with the protocols.”
The NFL did not, will not and cannot mandate the vaccine for players. But it has, can and will incentivize the vaccine for players and teams, while establishing strict protocols for unvaccinated players.
For the most part, the league has met its goal of getting most players vaccinated. Eighteen teams now have at least 90 percent of their players vaccinated. The Titans are one of those teams, General Manager Jon Robinson said Wednesday.
“I wouldn’t have gotten the vaccine, if not for the protocols they’re enforcing on us,” Tannehill said. “I think it’s a personal decision for everyone that everyone has to make the best decision for them and their families.

The NFL and many other institutions say you are free to refuse a vaccine, as long as you don’t mind being banned from buildings, public transportation, concerts, etc. I wonder how long before they try to ban you from online activities? In the case of this quarterback he may be allowed to refuse the vaccine but then he can’t enter the locker room, practice with the team, etc. That could make a pretty good breach of contract lawsuit if he showed up to work willing and able to play and they refused him entry.
He’s wrong. The NFL can mandate the vaccine just like any employer, so far they have chosen not too. He had the choice tot take it or not, apparently he decided the best decision for him in his situation was to take it. so quit bellyaching about it.
This growing forced vaccination campaign is against Nuremberg Code as well as the Constitution.

My wife and I tell folks that want to get together that we are unvaccinated. None of their business - but we figure it is the polite thing to do. Have been uninvited to several get-togethers with good friends. But also are still welcome at others.
I get that people are fearful and listen to the MSM (and are idiots - how many folks at their business, grocery, etc. are unvaxxed).
But it seems like a good opportunity to separate the wheat from the chaff.
It depends on the circumstance. I have unvaccinated friends over all the time for social gatherings (i happen to know their status, it’s not something I ask). However if I hire someone to help care for my 95 year old father in law I would prefer they be vaccinated or have had the disease, and would probably ask before hiring them , or ask any homecare agency we might require services of to send only vaccinated individuals or those documented to have had the disease. I would not require masks in any case as they don’t work.
Funny - the one group of folks that don’t care if we are vaxxed or not is the family of the 90-year old that my wife takes care of (and I help)! Although we both are very careful when it comes to washing our hands, disinfecting his groceries, etc.
BUT - I do understand your (and others) concerns. Just today some friends declined our invitation to dinner. They have elderly parents, sister going through cancer treatment, etc. Everyone has to make their own risk assessments and determine what is best for them.

Bingo. This is exactly what should've been communicated at the onset of the China Virus. Whether or not one gets vaccinated, has had the virus (and has developed what is now proven to be long-lasting immunity even to the variants) or is neither vaccinated/had the virus, it is up to each one of us to understand the risks we're taking and make the best choice for ourselves.
That is the very definition of FREEDOM which is really what's at risk here!
I don’t care if unvaccinated are in my home or eat dinner with us with the 95 year old at the table. Prolonged contact as a caretaker is another matter
This man is worth about 100 Million dollars. BTW, his NFL could end in just 1 play.
What about peope such as myself is making a decent wage but worth about 350k. The decision is much more critical. Let alone those who are living paycheck to paycheck.

Having had the disease and ensuing antibodies is a good thing but exposing your father-in-law to individuals who've had the experimental treatment is criminal. The data is out; those who got the experimental treatment, including those who overcame COVID-19, are getting COVID-19 at higher rates than those who haven't had the experimental treatment.

That criminal is still pushing the experimental treatment despite sharing proof that it doesn't work.
