Maybe it’s cultural. Some people my age (65) recall an entertainer called Charo. Charo (aka The Hoochie-Coochie-Girl) was/is a comedian who often appeared on late night shows like Johnny Carson.
She was a professional on acoustic guitar (studied with Andres Segovia!) , but she was far better known for her tight clothes and off colour jokes.
I think she was from Mexico.
She has a nice figure. She was bawdy and gaudy.
Charo used to set hair and makeup in very exaggerated ways too.

My first thought on seeing the photo was that those two are related.
She’s been rather notorious in fudging her age. Given that her husband in the ‘60s, Xavier Cugat, was born in 1900, more than likely she was born closer to 1940, so she’s at least 80 now.
I live in California. They all have those eyebrows. Even a lot of the younger white gals. I don’t get it but…..lol.
