I almost bought that place but I didn’t like the appliances.
It was a Chinese national who purchased the property.
Crypto? Everyone said crypto was the same as tulips and has no value.
Mellon died in Mexico from ayahuasca ...Does this say who...I don’t have my glasses
I wasn’t interested because it didn’t have a candy dispenser.
Crypto will be fine unless the bubble bursts.
No sir, it does not say.
Currently at $45k so two basically.
Can you imagine having bought $300 worth when it was $10.00? A few people did. Similar to buying Pepsi.com when it was $7/year. The dot com bubble made some millionaires.
All it takes is one time.
About 2000 BTC. I’m missing how this is a big deal, tho. For all we know, the guy had $170M in crypto, lost half because he bet it all on an altcoin with a kewl icon, and decided “Screw it, I’m buying me some real estate before I make matters worse!”
If true this was a way to get cash out of China. Price is irrelevant if you think you’re a target and will lose everything at some point in ghe future.
The Communist Chinese have no problem getting their money out of China. Communist Chinese probably own 15% of California.
He wanted $110 Million for it, been finished for a while now
You too?
I looked at the place and realized all retractable roofs eventually leak.....
“Can you imagine having bought $300 worth when it was $10.00? A few people did.”
Yes. Even fewer held on this long without selling. And now this has converted his into real estate. Hey, everybody knows it’s wise to diversify, besides, you gotta live somewhere. There is a cost to acquiring bitcoins, does anyone know what the equipment and power costs per Bitcoin? I guess you have to use a depreciation schedule on the computers/servers, etc.
“I looked at the place and realized all retractable roofs eventually leak.....”
Now you’ve reminded me of my old Z-28’s t-tops. Ugh...
My girl friend had one of those. They leaked but were so cool.
If he’s so mysterious, how do they know he’s a billionaire?
I declined the purchase offer because the realtor refused to include a Hawaiian Punch fountain.
The neighborhood isn’t diverse enough
I bought $250 worth and pulled $300 when it was $450 and ended up cashing out for $115 a while back. Free tractor tires. Can’t complain.
