The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated, you’ll be solving them all within a few days. If you’re stumped, take a break and return to it.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and how you made out.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for today’s Cryptogram ASK THE GROUP FOR HELP!
I suggest printing these out and work them on paper. If you need a little help you can copy and paste it to Hal’s Helper below.
You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper, but I recommend that you do NOT look at the letter counter.
One last request. Feel free to post a fun or clever clue, the more tangential to the quotation the better, but please don’t put the actual words of the quote in the clue.

You just wanted to see if I would notice, that this was the solution from the 28th....
Heart wrenching.....
I’m not sure if I understand the quote. Is the author an atheist?
I noticed when I formatting the solution to post tomorrow. My alibi is that my counting got thrown off by missing a day this week. That’s my alibi.
For those not following, July 27, 2021 was a Tuesday, despite what I said in https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/3980175/posts#3 The solution is for yesterday’s puzzle, Wednesday, July 28th, 2021. I compose a text file with the solution right after solving them.
The author was a famous holocaust survivor and human rights activist, and genuine anti-fascist. Understanding his experience with tyranny and totalitarianism, one can understand the quote.
You got thrown off, cause Nick posted a Today’s Cryptogram without any Today’s Cryptogram.
THE DUCK FLIES AT MIDNIGHT
Letter arrangement help me guess the author’s first name. Then word 2, then five.
I found the common letter, which gave me the common three letter word. That got me the 6th and 12th words, and that opened up the rest of it.
