Professors at America's top medical schools are being bullied into teaching students that biological sex is a construct and are apologizing for using the terms 'male' and 'female', students say.
Reporter Katie Herzog spoke with one student at a med school in the University of California system who says instructors are too scared to acknowledge the existence of two different sexes because it 'can be considered transphobic.'
The student - identified only as Lauren - shared her story with Herzog in an article published on Bari Weiss's Substack blog on Tuesday.
'I think there's a small percentage of instructors who are true believers [in woke ideology], but most of them are probably just scared of their students,' Lauren told Herzog.
Lauren claims that, in recent months, students have circulated a number of petitions designed to 'name and shame' instructors for 'wrongspeak.'
In one of Lauren's classes, which was recorded and posted online, a professor profusely apologized for using the term 'pregnant woman'.
Lauren says the unnamed professor told their class: 'I said "when a woman is pregnant," which implies that only women can get pregnant and I most sincerely apologize to all of you.
'I don't want you to think that I am in any way trying to imply anything, and if you can summon some generosity to forgive me, I would really appreciate it,' the professor states in the recording, which Herzog obtained access to.
'It was certainly not my intention to offend anyone. The worst thing that I can do as a human being is be offensive.'
'Since recent petitions were sent out, instructors have been far more proactive about 'correcting' their slides in advance or sending out emails to the school listserv if any upcoming material has 'outdated' terminology,' Lauren told Herzog.

I am not going to any doctor that doesn’t, or won’t, recognize the difference between male and female.
It depends on the school. If it was a really tough school, then a 2.2 might be a great score and half the students flunked out.
Leeches actually have medical uses. They use them to promote blood flow in fingers and ears that have been accidentally cut off and reattached.

Now the professors mostly literally cower in fear of their students. It all started going downhill in the 1960s when students realized they could occupy the dean's office and get the faculty to do their bidding.
The doctor should have taken a quick hand poll asking who in there believed that men could get pregnant. All who raised their hands should be dismissed from class and failed since they can’t even get one of the most basic biology facts straight.
I guess in the future there will be a new type of medical specialist, one that will check a person for prostate cancer while also giving them a pregnancy test....
No, professor, the worse thing you can do is teach falsehoods to medical students. Someone's life may depend on them in the future.

When a teacher has the nerve to walk out on a class that he knows is not there to learn, then I will retain some hope.

Do they do this in veterinary colleges too? No? Maybe because veterinarians know that females bear offspring by live birth or by laying eggs, and males never do, the exceptions being some species of seahorses? Are medical doctors saying that humans are different from other mammals in that regard? Have humans, in the past few years, started down some different evolutionary path? Show me the science. They can’t, because they are subverting science to accommodate women who think they are men and can give birth, while the truth is that no actual male can give birth or ever has given birth. Ask your veterinarian.

I expect, as a minimum, for a medical doctor to know and understand how and why a woman—and women ONLY—gets pregnant. Accept the Science!
One that accepts males can also get pregnant is NOT at all versed in science. What’s next, holes in my skull to release demons? Leeches to suck my blood?

Just a FYI: I have had occasion over my 40 plus year medical career to order the “pregnancy test”, HCG in men so please don’t abandon your physician if they order this on you. In men and non-pregnant females the HCG serves as a marker for certain malignancies and is used as a tumor marker to follow the course of disease after treatment. Having said that any medical student or professor who is ignorant of the sex differences has no place in medicine !!
DOCTOR: How are you feeling today Mr. Smith?
MR. SMITH: Well, I have been feeling a bit nauseous in the morning lately. I'm worried I might be pregnant.
DOCTOR: Mr. Smith, you are a biological male, it is impossible for you to be pregnant.
MR. SMITH: Don't say that! It is hateful and doesn't take into account my feelings!
DOCTOR: Um...okay. What would you have me do then?
MR. SMITH: I want a pregnancy test and an OB/GYN consult scheduled.
DOCTOR: But...you aren't a woman!
MR. SMITH: I want to be one.
DOCTOR: What?
MR. SMITH: I want to be a woman. From now on, I want you all to call me 'Loretta'.
NURSE: What?!
MR. SMITH: It's my right as a man.
NURSE: Well, why do you want to be Loretta, Mr. Smith?
MR. SMITH: I want to have babies.
DOCTOR: You want to have babies?!
MR. SMITH: It's every man's right to have babies if he wants them.
DOCTOR: But... you can't have babies.
MR. SMITH: Don't you oppress me.
DOCTOR: I'm not oppressing you, Mr. Smith. You haven't got a womb! Where's the fetus going to gestate?! You going to keep it in a box?!
MR. SMITH: (Crying)
NURSE: Here! I-- I've got an idea. Suppose you agree that he can't actually have babies, not having a womb, which is nobody's fault, not even the Republicans and Conservatives, but that he can have the right to have babies.
RECEPTIONIST: (Sticking her head in the door) Good idea, Nurse. We shall fight the Republicans and Conservatives for your right to have babies, brother. Sister. Sorry.
DOCTOR: What's the point?
NURSE: What?
DOCTOR: What's the point of fighting for his right to have babies when he can't have babies?!
RECEPTIONIST: (Sticking her head in the door again) It is symbolic of our struggle against oppression by Conservatives.
DOCTOR: Symbolic of his struggle against reality.
