“Russia” is banned from participating - no Russian flag, no Russian anthem. The Russian athletes are not, however.
I hope “Russia” wins the medal count just to tell the IOC to F off!

I think you are correct. I had a daughter who was a very good athlete. She was head and shoulders above everyone at age twelve. We didn’t overtrain, but her body started having issues (osgood-slaughter, vertebrae issues, and torn muscles). We pulled her out of all but track.
She’s 24, an age when female gymnasts think of retiring. Being a gymnast takes a lot out of a female body.
