Why do so many Americans resist being vaccinated against COVID? Or is that what they are actually resisting?
When I was a child, I was vaccinated against a number of deadly diseases. As an adult, I had my own child vaccinated. On the whole, vaccinations have saved countless lives and prevented epidemics that would otherwise have ravaged our nation and others.
Yet today, with a pandemic that has gripped the entire world with fears of a plague of (what they call) biblical proportions, there is more resistance to vaccination than ever before. In reaction, there are calls for "vaccine mandates," which would effectively force injections upon the population in vast numbers. Why do so many people adamantly refuse to "take the shot"?
There is a reason. Millions of Americans no longer trust their government. The political left dismisses this distrust with its usual accusations of conservative ignorance, extremism, and racism, but those words, overused for many years, no longer coerce most Americans.
I know people who took the vaccine because their personal physicians, whom they trust, recommended it. They were hesitant to accept that advice, but because of additional factors such as advanced age and complicated health issues, they finally gave in, fearing that for them, an infection might mean a death sentence.
However, when a bureaucrat demands that you be injected with a substance hidden behind walls of government censorship and secrecy, those with low risk factors are correct to be suspicious. When that distrusted government starts making threats, it only further increases the suspicion.

I bet the variant D has also been released by the ChiComs. It’s less that a coincidence that it first spread in India while they’re having a border dispute. Fauci even let it out of the bag by calling variant D a prototype. Prototype to what?
I bet the globalists asked for a second wave to impose another lockdown and set of mandates The amount of hysteria generated to scare folks into getting vaccinated is very suspicious. They want that stuff in our bodies bad. Why? I can’t wait until they announce booster shots will be required yearly.

I won't be taking the experimental covid vaccine, ever. It isn't because I'm anti-vaxx (obviously). It is because it was rushed through development, uses never before used (widespread) technology. It is also because far too many people, both companies and government agencies, have been obviously lying about numerous aspects of both the virus and the vax. Finally, the last reason I'll never get it - they are pushing it, demanding compliance and obedience. No. The more they push, assuming I'll fold, the harder my resolve becomes.

Yeah...the commies were the (declared)enemy back then, now they’re in charge! I read a story about the vaccines by some medical guy and from what he described, the vaccine would probably give me a (3rd) heart attack. The way he wrote the technical detail of the vaccine led me to believe he was not employing hyperbole, a la the NSA. Commies lie. They want to kill Trump voters. Act accordingly!

We have all kinds of vaccines for all kinds of diseases like polio, rubella, and measles. The fear and loathing of vaccines used to be lunatic fringe, rooted in bunko faith healers and the like. It is really going to hurt conservatives in future elections that such nonsense gets stamped with the conservative brand name.
As for passport requirements, we should be screening the health of people we let into the country.
It is not a vaccination. It is an injection that courses through the body changing the genetic structure of genes and building spike traps in blood vessels. It is more dangerous than the virus.

What good did it do for our Salk vaccine against polio if the intentional insertion of the china flu kills us when we were already safely enveloped with American medical ingenuity and technology ?

For as long as I can remember, the gov agencies have suggested that we all get the flu shot in the fall. Not a lot of pressure, but friendly reminders.
This shot is being forcefully pushed by governments and by businesses. Why the force? Tells me not to go down that road.
And btw, no one is talking about flu shots are they.
I stopped getting flu shots (which always made me sick) as soon as I got out of the military. Since then, I’ve watched year after year my coworkers get their flu shots, then get some other version of the flu. I think I had it once in the last 15 years...and it only lasted a couple days. Been much healthier since I said no to flu shots!
