I stopped getting flu shots (which always made me sick) as soon as I got out of the military. Since then, I’ve watched year after year my coworkers get their flu shots, then get some other version of the flu. I think I had it once in the last 15 years...and it only lasted a couple days. Been much healthier since I said no to flu shots!
I’ve never had a flu shot in my life @ 57. Never will. Far as I know, never had the flu either. My grandpa got the shot yearly, and also came down with pneumonia....yearly.
The flu shot is a guess. They guess which variant might appear. So far, they claim 40% accuracy, but reality says maybe 10% is closer to the truth. The CDC are liars.
