A Pensacola man is recovering from a gunshot wound on Monday, after accidentally shooting himself at a tavern last week.
Pensacola police said 28-year-old Carlos Feituuaki Tuifua shot himself at O’Riley’s Uptown Tavern, while showing it off to bar patrons on Thursday.
According to a report, Tuifua suffered a gunshot wound to his upper torso and left the bar after the shot was fired.
Police found Tuifua at a nearby hospital on Friday, after he checked himself in to be treated for his injury.
If you want to show it off I’d say doing it in a bar would be about the LAST place advisable.....there and Church.
Agree, but there is no excuse putting all those other people in danger.
Sounds Samoan.
At one point, he accidentally locked himself out of the car, with the gun inside. He may have thought this would lead to his capture.
Aiko was too scared to pick up the gun. She eventually unlocked the door and let him in. He did unspeakable things to her and murdered her.
Had she been comfortable with guns, she may well still be alive today.
And the five people he subsequently murdered would never been victims.
You are looking at it from a left perspective. This story to me is about how our education system needs firearms education.
Or Lapp?
Agree.
I subscribe to not letting anyone know if I’m carrying or not.
> Good thing my truck had vinyl upholstery.
When they’re bleeding you’re supposed to put them in the truck bed. Or tie them to the fender.
Best policy.
The guy is an idiot and more so one of the o rs who apparently shouldn’t be carrying a gun. Rule one. Never point the muzzle towards anything you don’t want to destroy, that would include your own body.
I would never unholster in a bar, unless my life was in imminent danger! Many states have laws about bringing firearms into that type of establishment, I don’t know FL law on this but suspect he’s going to be facing charges.
I always double check my chamber after I remove a magazine. My firearms only safety is the owners trigger finger.

Yes we are…but this guy is a real idiot (previous “issue”)
“accidentally shooting himself at a tavern”
Why, yes, I always wave a loaded gun around at the local saloon.
What kind of fucking gun.
‘cuz they’re not
(but just go ahead push population replacement)
For the same reason they don't have civics classes ....
Oh, my. I had never heard of that.
When my daughter was a firearms trainer for the Coast Guard, she said they had recruits who had never been in the same room with a gun and were afraid to touch even the laser target “guns” they started with.
I had a girl at the archery range at Webelos camp who was scared. I told her none of the equipment was going to do anything loud. “Hold the bow like this. Arrow goes like this. Fingers here on the string. Stand up straight and pull ... shoot.”
She got a bullseye on her first shot. “Oh, this is fun!”
If Al Gore had a son...
“A Pensacola man...”
__________
The author is being very clever.
The law requires stories of this type to start with the phrase “A Florida man”.
But most people who see this phrase stop reading at this point because they already know how the story ends.
So to try to fool us into reading further the author started it with “A Pensacola man”.
Nice try, but lawlessness is lawlessness. We should not be so willing to put up with this kind of stuff. What do they take us for, anyway?
