Other studies have linked coffee consumption to numerous health benefits, including a reduced risk of cardiovascular disease; Type 2 diabetes; Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease; colon, uterine, and liver cancer; and cirrhosis.
Others have suggested that coffee consumption is linked to bladder and pancreatic cancer and other health issues.
SO, WHICH PARTICULAR STUDY DO WE HEED?
So that’s what’s wrong with me.
A friend was just telling me a few days ago that you should drink two glasses of water upon awakening, before you have coffee, as dehydration during the sleep hours shrinks the size of the brain. The water re-hydrates & ‘plumps’ the brain back up. I think it’s all a bit silly.
I’ll take my chances.
Is that what happened to President Retard?
I haven’t read the article yet, but plan on it as coffee is my addiction.
My guess is that it has to do with either dehydration or that intellectuals drink more coffee throughout life.
Wish the article specified whether decaf coffee has the same risk.
Perhaps that explains how Starbucks convinced customers to pay so much for coffee with lots of creamer and sugar in it?
A coffee with your doughnut could protect against Alzheimer's disease FR thread
I should report you to the WH for posting health disinformation! :P
But they say coffee keeps away the Covid.
The “cup” they reference here is a SIX OUNCE STANDARD cup.
My brain is now so small that it can’t be measured.
Earlier there were two threads about coffee. One said drinking 3-4 cups was good for you, the other said drinking 3-4 cups was bad for you. Both stories hit the news wire at the same time.
Trust the science.
Don’t worry about it. Those studies are never replicated .... never even consider a study results not replicated. Better if replicated several times.
I saw a recent story posted here on the benefits of coffee so I was wondering when an anti coffee story would follow.
Didn’t take long. It never does.
A few months ago another study said drinking two or more cups per day would make you live longer. 🙄
