CDC finally pulling PCR tests as they can't differentiate between Covid and the Flu...
"CDC encourages laboratories to consider adoption of a multiplexed method that can facilitate detection and differentiation of SARS-CoV-2 and influenza viruses."

Insane!
"After December 31, 2021, CDC will withdraw the request to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) of the CDC 2019-Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) Real-Time RT-PCR Diagnostic Panel"
Furthermore:
"In preparation for this change, CDC recommends clinical laboratories and testing sites that have been using the CDC 2019-nCoV RT-PCR assay select and begin their transition to another FDA-authorized COVID-19 test. CDC encourages laboratories to consider adoption of a multiplexed method that can facilitate detection and differentiation of SARS-CoV-2 and influenza viruses."
You will have to draw your own conclusions...
For some of us the implications of this staggering when it comes to every single PCR test performed on people who where classified as COVID positive yet with out the clear differentiation of whether it is / was a flu... So now we know how the flu disappeared (as if we did not already know)
Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) has been a cloak to use faulty testing and untested synthetic gene therapies.
****We have been using pcr as a diagnostic test for multiple infectious agents for years. It is usually the confirmatory gold standard***
It is a volumetric test, not a diagnostic test. If it fits your prediagnostic conclusion it is great
yup. we have been using a multi panel assay for a while. When someone comes in with respiratory symptoms they should be tested for covid, flu, and rsv. These panels make it easier to test for the right things and not forget to test for all of them. There are cases of people being listings for covid and flu together. But as usual the armchair quarterbacks armed with google and twitter know it all and fun with the hysteria not facts
wrong. but where do you practice medicine? we offer run panels of ocr testing on blood and csf to make a diagnosis.
I practice what Kerry Mullins taught, about his own design.
You can’t hide from that.
There was a 5 year old boy who died around a week ago in Georgia of coronavirus. He also had strep and staph infections which led to stroke. Did they miss the strep test? Did they declare the whole family sick from Covid and not test for strep in the child? These are questions I had last week.
In May my son had a fever and sore throat, and I took him to the urgent care as it was the weekend. I figured he had a strep infection. They tested him for strep, flu, and Covid. Lo and behold, he had coronavirus and was negative for the other two though they did send the throat swab off to make sure.
Very early on, I read that the test simply finds bits of any type of virus, and declares a positive. This was regarded as a problem, so they were trying to find something that identified the dread Covid.
Neurally, this info disappeared quickly.
In other words, they knew that people were getting sick and dying from the flu, since they really couldn’t tell the difference. But “covid” was more politcallly useful.

In the case of Covid-19, the markers used were not unique and covid specific enough for reliable identification of SARS-2 virus and the number of transcription iterations was high enough that even trace contamination of test gives false positives. The problems we saw using PCR test methods for Covid-19 is not an indictment of the general efficacy of the PCR test method, it's an indictment of how it mis used during the covid pandemic
They are not withdrawing the RT-PCR test, they are withdrawing the first Assay Panel that was released and distributed by the CDC. See post 39. They are waiting until Dec 31 because the Assay Panel still works fine, and they need to give labs a chance to transition to another Assay Panel, and in some cases new equipment.
biden opening the border and spreading thousands of disease carrying invaders across our country during a so called “global pandemic” proves the kung flu is a scam...
this is all about using fear to control people...
I’m not hiding from anything. I’m telling you how it is used clinically and has been for years
“It’s [PCR] just a process that’s used to make a whole lot of something out of something. That’s what it is. It doesn’t tell you that you’re sick and it doesn’t tell you that the thing you ended up with really was going to hurt you or anything like that.”
-Kary Mullis
Yes. People forget how COVID was first presented in the media. Photos and videos of Chinese people collapsing in the streets as if they'd just been gassed. Aid workers in hazmat suits coming to their aid. We had a thread here a couple of months ago about it. It looks ridiculous now.
Looking back at that, it's easy to conclude the aim right from the outset was to use these dramatic images to get people's attention, and instantly provoke fear.

They can’t.
This is all B.S.
Surprised?
LOL
A multiplex assay is a testing cartridge that goes into the RT-PCR machine and allows it to look for and compare multiple different dna sequences in a single sample
The original test was a single assay, programmed to look for only one sequence in a sample. There have been multiplex assays that distinguish between Influenza A and B for quite some time. They have since developed them to include Covid.
So this claim is quackery based on ignorance of the technology.
Exactly how many PRC cycles definitively diagnose a SARS-2 infection?
Be precise in your answer.
And they just can't understand why we don't trust the federal government with our health care....
“CDC Finally Pulling PCR Tests As They Can’t Differentiate Between Covid And The Flu...“
CDC Finally Pulling PCR Tests out of their azzes As They Can’t Differentiate Between their Faucist Covid azz And Their communist Flu elbow!
Fixed it. That’s how the title should be!
