"Math is racist" just happens to fulfill dumbing down planning 150 years old

Math is racist. (At NASA, Creola Katherine Johnson performed critical astrophysics calculations on the fly which other engineers couldn't do, while computers were still punch-card input, as portrayed in the film Hidden Figures -- movie trailer.)

Music notation is racist. (Don't listen to the music of African-American classical composers William Grant Still, Florence Price or Samuel Coleridge Taylor. Don't listen to "Akinla" from Fela Sowande's African Suite.)

Rabid fears of racism in serious academic work just happen to correspond to educational planning goals rolled out 5 or 6 lifetimes ago. What we would call socialism in the classroom has been irresistibly implemented at a glacial pace according to a script which has not varied 1 mm. It just took slight twists & turns as events unfolded by it has remained true to its purpose. It has achieve complete social-political control, with your young people's minds sentenced to life in a prison whose walls are invisible to them.

My 14 year old granddaughter will not abide no stinkin' dissident talk. Because it would interfere with her social integration through electronic devices--at home she isn't allowed to have a phone, so it makes her socially second-class among her school peers. The school-district snuck in a tablet, a ChromeBook; she looked at porn on it, after I asked a School Board member for the filtering that's universal in biz, filtering that's even more common in biz-behemoths which foster mindlessness among employees & students.

My granddaughter's intolerance of dissidence isn't because she's disinclined to see the worldwide social obedience hegemony; if, apart from her social conformity anxiety, she hears discussions of resistance to the great reset, she's open to it. But she won't abide any of that talk if it threatens to isolate her from her social group. They all go along with the teacher--I heard the teacher guide a current events discussion with "now, how does that relate to racism?" (The students' bubble world has never allowed them any exposure to any real racism, they wouldn't know what it is if it chased them down the street threatening to bite them.) The plan from long ago was for the students themselves to be the monitors and enforcers of social conformity. They are ruthless about enforcing the social conformity.

This situation is the perfect realization of 150 years of deliberate dumbing down fostered by the Titans of Wall St. and the More Influential Classes, with technical help from North German/Prussian behavioral psychology, literally since 1870. (I won't go into it here, but it's all meticulously documented by a wide range of authors.) The control string, only a micron wide but made of steel piano wire, thousands of miles long and 150 years old, stems from Pavlov's teacher Wilhelm Wundt, to American behaviorists around the turn of the 19th-20th century, G. Stanley Hall, John Dewey and Edward Lee Thorndyke, it emerges into our lifetimes in the "operant conditioning" of B.F. Skinner, as soon as computers started breaking through in the 70s, your kid became a target of centralized control conditioning.

Skinner’s infant daughter Deborah, who wasn’t allowed to be touched, was the first experimental subject decades before computers confined your child’s mind in a portable Skinner box.

Teachers are themselves victims of the system. You can see it in the casual rants of Bruce Deitrick Price at his Improve-Education. Rant #30 "The War Against Reading". Rant #45: "The Crusade Against Knowledge & Memory". Rant #53 "The Education Establishment Hates Math".

The perfect system of getting the mass of kids to identify with their oppressors--the school controllers in university social engineering--is to politicize it, to make it a social movement, to identify the bad guys based on a convenient marker like skin color, to whip up their rage by rubbing perceived grievances raw like an open sore, and getting them to serve "justice" as a katharsis to distract them from how they've been abused and mis-educated by a control system.

Along the way, the system will keep them from ever upsetting the carefully constructed hierarchy of mediocrity.

The intelligence behind this reasoning is junior high school level or lower.
I teach music and when a youngster tries something twice and can’t get it, the something is labeled ‘evil’ and must be avoided at all costs, even if they have to kill everyone around them.

WE breed water dogs not to bite game birds, we hood falcons to control them, when race horses run too fast we “handicap” them with heavy sandbags, and when students are in danger of independent learning so that they threaten to evade being conditioned into mindless consumers and docile, unquestioning employees of giant corporations, we subject them to “schooling”.
College graduates today have been denied, by design, a basic liberal-arts education that was freely available to many 1-room schoolhouse, elementary students prior to the imposition of universal forced schooling in the period 1880-1920. It was a result of planned, deliberate intellectual caponization ($25 word for neutering roosters) which long preceded their high school graduation. A vast store of evidence for this assertion, unknown to the general public, is in freely available authors in a tradition of “studies of Deliberate Dumbing Down K-12”:

How long before blacks are told that literacy is racist? Between these ideas and CRT, doesn’t it seem like we’re circling back 150 years to Jim Crow days and segregation? What are these people thinking?

I mastered morse code a 5 WPM in about 10 minutes. It took me 2 months of practice to move that to 20 WPM. Some things require LOTS of effort to master. I'm learning Welsh, German, Scots Gaelic, Irish, Japanese and Mandarin. Each language presents a different challenge. If you give up too soon, you'll never get there.

I taught an embedded systems class at a junior college from 1980 to 1983. I had some students who didn't "get it" and ran for the exits without trying. One student genuinely wanted to learn, but had trouble remembering things. I asked him to bring a small notebook and write down items when I explained them. It turns out he was an ex-con who volunteered to be a drug test subject in prison. The drugs damaged his short term memory. The notebook recommendation rescued his bacon in my class and all of the others. It was an accidental "win". I had no clue about his disability until some of the students invited me to join them after class and shared that info about the short term memory damage.

Keep ‘em minimally healthy, fed well enough and not too educated so they can work in the fields and factories to make profits and luxuries for their masters. We fought a war in 1861-65 to stop that nonsense. Looks like we are going to have to do it again.

Math is not racist. Math is a piece of reality. Math is a means to measure and relate things in space. Math is absolute in all regards. It is a part of physics. Only a stupid person would say it is racist. They have no grasp of the real world.

Skinner’s infant daughter Deborah, who wasn’t allowed to be touched, was the first experimental subject decades before computers confined your child’s mind in a portable Skinner box.

Deborah Skinner, herself, said this was a lie. The "airbox" was just a different kind of crib, and she talks about being cuddled and hugged by her father as a child. As much as I hate most of his work, this particular piece of fabrication attacks the daughter who has said multiple times that it isn't true.

Using the same logic, so is thinking.

Just an attempt to keep them as vote-slaves. Democrats are still mad that they were taken away in the first place so they figured out a way to bring them back voluntarily.

They are afraid to say that certain people have difficulty with math, and rather than identify that as the cause, they call math racist.

Math is not racist because white kids have just as much problems with it as black kids, since neither race encounters it much in childhood. Black kids do have a disadvantage because they are less likely to hear correct English in their early years.

>>I suggest the notebook to all my students having trouble remembering things.<<

Revolutionary! If only someone had suggested high school & college students take class notes back in the dark ages of the 50s & 60s.../sar

Has it really regressed to this extent?
