SAN ANTONIO – Forty-two people are now in isolation after testing positive for COVID-19 at a San Antonio assisted living facility, a management company for the facility confirms.
The positive cases were reported among 31 residents and 11 staff members last week at Heartis San Antonio Assisted Living and Memory Care on the far North Side.
All 31 residents are fully vaccinated; four staff members are fully vaccinated, three have their first doses and four have not been vaccinated, officials said.

They are mass testing asymptomatic people. There is no reason for that and it needs to stop. Symptomatic people only should be tested
“Everyone is going to get infected, the vaccine was never supposed to stop that.

I’m pretty sure they said it would. Otherwise no point in having a vax”

No point? Tell that to these 31 assisted living facility residents. I suspect they and their loved ones would strongly disagree.

Agree 100%!
Otherwise you are picking up colonization not infection
Delta/DeltaPlus, has some specific mutations the virus developed to make itself stronger (more infective, faster replicating). This builds on the mutations in Beta. Lambda (now 2% or so) has 7 mutations of beta mutations. According to NewDelhi TV, Delta has 20 mutations of alpha.
Beta was 50% more contageous than Alpha and Delta is 80% more contageous than Beta. I’ve seen Delta contageous at anywhere from 225% more to 1000% more. Neither are good. Alpha was 6-10 days to be contageous; Delta is 3.7 days to be contageous. All are airborne. The ROI (rate of infection - cases spread by one case) of Beta was 2; the ROI of Delta is 5-8 (the Aussies have confirmed an ROI of 5 and this is what is scaring the poo out of Washington - the ROI of smallpox is 6 for comparison)
Wuhan’s original release was a baby virus. Now we’ve got a toddler virus running around
Technical from India Times:
“, Delta has dropped E484Q and incorporated the T478K mutation, which is also seen in Mexican variants and is under close watch for its role. A pre-print research paper from Japan, however, terms the P681R mutation a ‘hallmark of the Delta variant’ that ‘facilitates the spike protein cleavage and enhances viral fusogenicity’
if you’ve got 4 minutes here’s a no-sound necessary little white-board video that compares the variants of concern and why

If that were factual then there would be no reason for “vaccine” coercion to prevent an epidemic.
Well, except for the initial hysterical panic over not having enough hospital beds — but they mitigated that risk in NY by just putting the COVID-infected seniors back in their nursing homes — problem solved.

On November 20, 2020, Pfizer and BioNTech (the Sponsor) submitted an Emergency Use
Authorization (EUA) request to FDA for an investigational COVID-19 vaccine (BNT162b2)
intended to PREVENT COVID-19 caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2
(SARS-CoV-2). The vaccine is based on the SARS-CoV-2 spike glycoprotein (S) antigen
encoded by RNA and formulated in lipid nanoparticles (LNPs). The proposed use under an EUA
is “for active immunization for the PREVENTION of COVID-19 caused by SARS-CoV-2 in
individuals 16 years of age and older.”
Now that it doesn’t work, they change the story, as it was never meant to prevent covid.

Yep, dead viruses and viral fragments left from the slaughter of viruses that happened during a “failed viral invasion”.
I’m hearing so many conflicting anecdotal reports…
Some say only the unvaccinated are getting covid.
Others say the opposite, that we cases are mostly among the already vaccinated.
I am not getting the vaccination either way, because I’m just not afraid of covid.
But it is weird that there are so many conflicting claims, and no actual data.
If 60% of people are vaccinated, and the vaccination is not working at all, I would expect 60% of new cases to be among the vaccinated.
If the vaccine is working only half the time, I would expect 30% of new cases to be among the vaccinated.
If the vaccine is working perfectly, I would expect 0% of new cases to be among the vaccinated.
Seems like it would be pretty easy to prove it - one way or the other.
info on DeltaPlus:
“Delta Plus – A Sub-Variant
Another reason why the Delta variant is one of the most worrisome strains is that it also has a sub-variant known as Delta Plus, also known as B.1.617.2.1 or AY.1. This particular coronavirus strain allows it to attack the lung cells more strongly and may also escape the protection offered by the vaccine.
The sub-variant is considered to be the variant... responsible for the recent wave of COVID-19 in India. While the Indian health authorities have already classified it as a variant of concern, the WHO and CDC do not consider it as a variant of concern.

PREPRINT:
“The SARS-CoV-2 B.1.617 lineage was identified in October 2020 in India1–5. It has since then become dominant in some indian regions and UK and further spread to many countries6. The lineage includes three main subtypes (B1.617.1, B.1.617.2 and B.1.617.3), harbouring diverse Spike mutations in the N-terminal domain (NTD) and the receptor binding domain (RBD) which may increase their immune evasion potential. B.1.617.2, also termed variant Delta, is believed to spread faster than other variants.
“. Variant Delta was resistant to neutralization by some anti-NTD and anti-RBD mAbs including Bamlanivimab, which were impaired in binding to the Spike. Sera from convalescent patients collected up to 12 months post symptoms were 4 fold less potent against variant Delta, relative to variant Alpha (B.1.1.7). Sera from individuals having received one dose of Pfizer or AstraZeneca vaccines barely inhibited variant Delta. Administration of two doses generated a neutralizing response in 95% of individuals..”

the “vaccines” are causing the new cases
and they are not even vaccines because theres no immunit ytgey are conferring
these stats prove it
[quote]"Prevention of Covid-19"[end quote].
There is mounting evidence of breakthrough cases.
If this virus wasn't so politicized, their EUA would be pulled and told to go back to more testing without the EUA.
As I said on another thread, “cases” is the Leftist go-to, conjuring up scenes of hospitals overflowing with desperate people.
Please. Most of this is, as always, someone going in to get a pre-employment screening or the like and the doctor says, “Well, you’ve got it,” and the guy replies, “Geez, I never even noticed.”
Relocating 31 infected residents sounds like more than nothing.
Since every other resident is vaccinated, why can't the infected residents just stay where they are?
30 of the 31 are mild/asymptomatic and they are just quarantined. One of the residents, 81 year old Loftin Warner, was in hospice care for Parkinson’s disease and two forms of dementia. He is in pretty bad shape, but he was already dying in hospice.
You are correct that if no one was vaccinated, it would have been a horror show.
When did global respiratory viruses start mutating in the direction of more infectious and more deadly?
We have new variants of influenza and common colds every year.
The USA flu vaccination rate is usually around 50%, and in most years the vaccine completely whiffs on at least one virus.
Yet, since 2010, the USA flu infection rate has never exceeded 15%, and the fatality rate has never been above a fraction of 1%.
Corona is a common cold virus and was identified more than 50 years ago.
Most of the people living in the USA have had at least one Corona virus common cold, and more than one if you live on the West Coast.
But, suddenly, a deadly Corona virus emerges, out of no where, and in spite of a massive vaccination effort, the virus is becoming more contagious and more deadly?
Sorry, that narrative does not make sense to me.
I no longer have any trust in the competence or the honesty of the CDC and its supporters.
My hometown care center has just initiated requirements for visitors....must be by appointment...limited to one hour....cannot go to patients rooms but must meet in designated room. If unvaccinated must wear a mask......This because of the so called ‘variants’ of covid media’s reporting about.
You are correct in your questions and these are the very questions that point towards this being from a lab and not naturally occurring.
Unfortunately the only one asking these type of questions is a lone Senator up on the Hill.
I wish it was as easy as saying it is this bioweapon and here is the cure, but apparently Wuhan/Fauci never developed a cure or vaccine. We are going to see this crap for at least another 2 years. Fauci said it would take at least 3 years to have a truly effective vaccine against such an outbreak years ago. It appears that timeline hasn’t moved very much.
I took the vaccine from pfizer. When the mass vax took place you didn’t get a choice...you got what they had that day. No choice involved. Up until then I had been taking Quercitin, Zinc combo. I work outside so I wasn’t concerned about vit. d.
I want to thank Mitch McConnel for the warning yesterday of impending lockdowns. If he is talking about them ...it is time to prepare and get fully restocked. Some are mad at him for pushing the vax. I am not as I think it was insincere, but it gave him a way to warn the base of the lockdowns that are coming.
I live alone, work alone, etc. I don’t know if I will financially survive a second prolonged shutdown. But...at my age I guess I’ve done my best and what’s happening in the world at this point is beyond my control.
Live the next few weeks to a month and enjoy the rest of the summer. See the family and friends it looks like another cold, dark, lonely winter is heading our way.
