WASHINGTON, July 22 (Reuters) - The U.S. government will send 3 million more doses of the Moderna Inc (MRNA.O) COVID-19 vaccine to Vietnam on Thursday, bringing total donations to the Southeast Asian country to 5 million, a White House official said.
The next batch of shots is due to arrive in Vietnam this weekend as the country battles its worst coronavirus outbreak of the pandemic.

Now please send about ten times more!
:)
Which one of the American ones do you plan to get?
I still would prefer the Russian vaccine but they can’t get it together in terms of mass production.
Now what am I going to do? They just gave my shot away, oh well.
It’s all about the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
3 million COVID-19 vaccines X annual BOOSTER SHOTS = BIG BUCKS.
I’ll send a condolence card to family of the Vietnamese guy who got mine.......
I liked your idea a while back to give Vietnam the vaccines that have been distributed to the states, not used and are approaching ‘aging out’.
Thank You for posting.
Hope you guys get many more. If the anti-vaxxers here don’t want them, have them go to those who do.
when was the last time the USA dumped large amounts of hazardous chemicals on the Vietnamese people ?

Is that like buying meat in the discount bin of the grocery store?
That expires that day?
That is sealed in nitric oxide to mask degradation of color of the meat as it goes bad?
They will probably sell them to some wealthy country that has a shortage.
They are like most Asian countries, people are of little value, only money and power are important. Wait, what am I saying, thats also describes the United States!
Anti-vaxxer?
More like Anti-Poison.
Since when is one’s intent to preserve one’s life from poisoning a bad thing?
Nope.
Vietnam is a nice place. I understand there are FReepers who still have bad memories of the place, but it is a real nice place now. Really.
Except that there are WAY too few immunizations at the moment, mostly because the country was quite successful avoiding the disease for the entire first year.
So immunizations went to America, and to Europe, but not here. Vietnam was AOK with that too.
But I think when the D variety of Covid, that changed. Badly. Now lots of the world is starting to get over Covid. But Vietnam is not.
Much less than 10% of the population has even received one of the two vaccines - just around five percent, of 100,000,000 in the country.
Vietnam needs (lots more) vaccines.
Right now. Please.
Thanks America for helping out.
Can you please send a LOT more?
:)
Thank you, also.
lol... cause they about to expire
The Delta version is more communicable and less deadly. Maybe on a par with the vaccine itself.

Blow the dust off your checkbook and pay for it.
