Forty percent of all new cases this week have been recorded in Florida, Texas and Missouri, White House pandemic response coordinator Jeff Zients revealed at a press briefingThursday.
Florida alone accounts for 20 percent of all new cases nationally, Zients pointed out, a trend that has stretched into its second week.
Zients added that “virtually all” hospitalizations and deaths — a full 97 percent — are among unvaccinated people. “The threat is now predominantly only to the unvaccinated,” he said. A few vaccinated people do experience so-called breakthrough infections, but they tend to experience only mild COVID-19 illness, or no illness at all.

That’s similar to the big wave last year. About 4 states would constitute 30% of cases, and 8-10 would make up 50%.
California, FL, NY, CA, TX, MA, were the big players most days. Second tier was PA, NJ, OH, AZ, MI, IL, plus states that would come and go like LA, NC, MI.
In deaths per million the worst ten 10 states in order are:
NJ, NY, MA, RI, MS, AZ, LA, AL, CT, SD.

We know COVID is like a very bad flu. Worse than swine flu but not as bad as the Spanish flu.
It’s never going to end, either, just like the flu.

I second your observation. 268 deaths certainly are NOT a pandemic, but the press confirms it is a PLANDEMIC! America, Don’t be fooled , again.
30% of illegals are refusing vaccination. I also read that like “Ohio” as the destination years ago, “Florida” is the new most popularly requested destination. (which is not going to turn out well as the Cubanos are definitely not the same ‘hispanic’ as messicans and they don’t mesh)
I read an article the other day about Israel. They have claimed that in the first wave of CCPVirus, 150 infected tourists traveling the country were responsible for 80% of all Israeli cases.
Not that the current US admin would learn from that.
I figure if they don’t want the vaccine, they shouldn’t get entry and free transportation to their state of preference
