I had this conversation with my primary care. This issue is whether you get sick and how sick you get is a function of the viral load you get exposed to. Likewise, your immune systems ability to handle those loads seems to be dependent on the severity of your illness and how successful your immune system was in building antibodies. So while many people may have tested positive but never felt worse than a cold or flu, their immune system may have fought off the low viral load attack without much in the way of antibody creation, and over time (like a few months) that bit of immunity can weaken to another attack with higher viral load.
The docs know that the vaccines provide help but not in every case. They know that the antibody tests can pick up the antibody but not how much is really protective.
As cynical as we are about the CDC, Fauci, etc, mostly because they are talking out of their ass, there is a rationale to getting the vax even if you had the virus before.
As always, however, this should be a personal decision, and like most here, I long for the day when the govt and the media would stop pushing the vax. It has been politicized and it shouldn’t be.
I don’t buy that explanation. Regardless of viral load anti-bodies and “T” cells are on high alert for many, many years. Antibodies are not the only way the body responds to infections. Also, a virologist from Pfizer has released a study that Covid (SARS) recovered in 2003 released the antibodies during Covid 19 and had minimal to zero infection.
Lastly, when you get the virus regardless of viral load, your body sees EVERY phase of the virus and how it functions to harm the body. It’s then stored as information and immediately attacked when the virus comes back.
The real science is NATURAL immunity is preferred over a vaccine-—especially one that has even been tested for a year.
It’s ironic that “they” know how long the antibodies last on a 8 month old vaccine but doubt natural immunity that’s been around for thousands of years and proven itself.
