I don’t buy that explanation. Regardless of viral load anti-bodies and “T” cells are on high alert for many, many years. Antibodies are not the only way the body responds to infections. Also, a virologist from Pfizer has released a study that Covid (SARS) recovered in 2003 released the antibodies during Covid 19 and had minimal to zero infection.
Lastly, when you get the virus regardless of viral load, your body sees EVERY phase of the virus and how it functions to harm the body. It’s then stored as information and immediately attacked when the virus comes back.
The real science is NATURAL immunity is preferred over a vaccine-—especially one that has even been tested for a year.

It’s ironic that “they” know how long the antibodies last on a 8 month old vaccine but doubt natural immunity that’s been around for thousands of years and proven itself.

The medical details are outside my area of expertise. Just reading and talking with people more knowledgeable than me. Regular flu vaccines are given in the fall (start of flu season) because they are only effective for 4 to 6ish months. For many people including myself, getting a mild flu is not a big deal, so letting the body deal with it naturally works. For others who are more susceptible to things like bacterial respiratory infections that can follow, a vaccine is a good idea. Older folks, or people who have had pneumonia in the past for example, would tend to be in that category. So its not a one size fits all problem.

Thats why it should be a private discussion between you and your doctor. If your doctor recommends something and you dont like his recommendation, you can always look for another doctor. If you go to three doctors and your still arent happy with the recommendations for any of them, well, you are still entitled to your opinion. Maybe you want to take the risk, maybe you’re just stubborn, whatever. But its probably not a conspiracy amongst the doctors.

Regarding your statement “when you get the virus regardless of viral load...It’s then stored as information and immediately attacked when the virus comes back.” If so, then why are people getting re-infected? Some are blaming it on the vax but this phenomena was occurring even before the vax was out there. As my doctor explained to me, and you may be acknowledging in your comments, the vax or prior infection doesnt prevent you from getting the virus again. It just provides a starting point for your immune system to respond. The immune system can still become overwhelmed if its not up to the task of a heavy viral load, leading to respiratory illness and the dreaded ventilator. The idea behind the vax is to prep the immune system better, particularly for those of us past our mid life years where the immune system, like other body parts, is tiring out.
