Wow, lots of smoke and hazy skies here in southern NH, this evening.

I hear it's coming from the wildfires happening on the West coast...

Depressing the temperature on the East Coast.

Hopefully the particulates will do some cloud seeding.

Notice the Southeast isn’t affected?

At least here in Fla we do prescription burns.

Its an amazing concept

To think people are still flicking their cigarettes out the windows of their cars...

And poof....this too shall pass. It's been raining here in Upstate pretty good on and off and cleaning the air. It's still not quite refreshing to walk outside but it'll get better.

And like this has never happened before?

I’m in Northern Minnesota. Have never experienced anything like this. Crazy thick smoke.

“It must be summer”...after decades of wacko environmentalist forest mismanagement.

It didn’t used to be like this.

It isn’t raining here in Upstate Idaho (we call it “the panhandle”). It’s been pretty lousy except today isn’t bad — some blue sky and high 80s.

Yes you have, two years ago during the Alberta wild fires........You just never heard about it.

FWIW, the visibly smoky haze was worse then than it is today...........

“didn’t used to be like this.”

Hell yeah it did, for a while we took care of our forests. Where we could. Protect the good timber. Fire brakes. Etc.

But before that it was whatever happened happened. A lightning strike or a cow tipping over a lantern. Or a metor landing.

Man gets tired of cleaning up after nature and then blames man.

Yes, there were huge conflagrations (Wisconsin Peshtigo fire, 1871; Idaho & Montana Great Fire of 1910) before. But not endless smoke-filled summers year after year after year. It all started when the enviro-kooks took power.
