Dr. Anthony Fauci argues for gain-of-function research in 2013. He presents a slide from a New York Times editorial "An Engineered Doomsday" which pointed out if a virus escaped a lab it could kill millions. He claims safeguards have been put in place to prevent that.

Just today he said in the Senate that taking an animal virus and intentionally increasing transmissibility to humans is NOT gain of function. In the first minute of this video he says the exact opposite. But he got snippy and self righteous like that turd that snapped at McCarthy about his decency when he refused to answer a question about whether his staffer had been a member of a commie front group, which it turns out later he had indeed been and the witness knew it when he decided to showboat. Political theater to avoid answering the question honestly. Indeed, Faux outrage is great theater.
Fauxi is good at that. He's a consummate poser, and word parser.
Fauxi goes way back with big $$$ games with:
CDC/PEPFAR (Birx, Fauci, Pence),
Global Fund (Birx, Gates, vaccines, $10’s of billions from Fed via PEPFAR),
UN Development Program (oversees GF spending with closed books via “special immunity”, gets $100’s of millions from Fed for administering),
Global Fund grant recipients (like Chinese labs).
NIH funding of NGOs (like Chinese labs).
Always remember -- VP Pence put Fauxi (and Birx, who escaped the later spotlight quietly) front and center in this fear-mongering, Great Reset-triggering Covid plot.

Sen. Rand Paul today made it official: 100% certified, he’s an American hero.
He moped up the floor with that liar Dr. Fallacy and his illicit funding operation of the ChiCom Wuhan bioweapon.
Fauci has been the most high-profile proponent of gain-of-function experiments for years.
Mr. Fauci funded a bio-weapon. Even Hitler couldn’t accomplish that. Given a bit more time Fauci could have it redesigned so that where were only four spike proteins per cell, each offset at and bent at 90 degrees, to form a swastika.
Sen. Paul got him to tell some more lies IMO.
Dr. Fallacy tried a desperate tactic to obfuscate claiming his underlings “up and down” agree that their GOF illicit funding is not GOF because now they say so.
Rand Paul was citing the crazed Bat Lady’s own document where she gave thanks for her GOF funding from Dr. Fallacy.
Dr. Rand Paul exocoriated. Dr. Fallacy on that front.
Then Dr. Fallacy tried to play a semantic game saying those specific viruses manufactured in the Wuhan Lab didn’t cause the ChiCom Virus.
Of course not, the same process created additional ones that later leaked.
Again, Sen. Rand Paul decimated that Dr. Fallacy saying he and others involved for the eventual GOF work leading to the actual leak would be held responsible.
This is historic and Dr. Rand Paul is an American hero.
Semantics, red herrings and ad-hominems. That is all FraudXi had in response.
I don’t think Sen. Paul is going to let go of this.
What I could see in Sen. Rand Paul was a focus and in his eyes determination that he will not let this BS pass.
Dr. Fallacy escalated it and pointed at him and IMHO Rand Paul will carry this to fruition.
He quite literally laid down the gauntlet interjecting there would be accountability for the illicit funding of the ChiCom’s Wuhan and pointedly added it included Dr. Fallacy.
Rand Paul is the bomb.
