Excellent point! Fauci admitted to gain of function in his retort that the gain of function didn’t create the china virus.
Paul is establishing the first step - that gain-of-function work was done in the Wuhan lab, which Fauci was trying to deny, and trying to deflect from.
That is because if it can be established that SOME gain-of-function work was being done there, then there might have been OTHER gain-of-function work being done there as well. THEN they would have a place to look for the development of the Covid-19 virus.
