Officials in Provincetown issued a new mask advisory on Monday after more than 130 people, some of whom are fully vaccinated, tested positive for COVID-19 in cases linked to the Cape Cod town's Fourth of July festivities.
The new public health advisory urges everyone to get vaccinated, isolate and get tested if they experience symptoms. It also urges venues to enforce vaccine verification and suggests everyone wear masks indoors when social distancing cannot be achieved.
Unvaccinated individuals, including children, are required to wear masks both indoors and when six feet of distance cannot be maintained outdoors, the advisory states. Masks are also required on public transportation.

Provincetown has had more than a year to build healthcare facilities and train caregivers to deal with any “surge” of the China Virus.
If there is any city which has not, it can only be concluded that the government there wants these lockdowns to continue for its own (most likely corrupt) purposes.
Provincetown...masks ain’t gonna help what’s going on there
Isn’t Provincetown a queer Mecca? Hmmmm……
A year and a half into this mess and the elites keep pushing the same failed dictates that got us here. Masks don’t work. Looking up people in their own house doesn’t work; in fact it probably increases the spread of Covid due to proximity and lack of sunshine.
The only way that the natives in Provincetown can socially distance is if their arms are longer than 3 feet.
Do both partners have to mask up, or just the one in the rear?
Provincetown residents won’t mind masks because masks won’t stop them from sodomizing each other which is their central purpose in life.
“Some”??
“more than 130 people, some of whom are fully vaccinated”
“Some”, as in a number between 1 and 129.
From reading the news bulletin, most of the town’s residents are vaxxed, and the one guy the interviewed is fully vaxxed.
Yet, new cases are 99% among the unvaxxed, according to the CDC.
My Thoughts Exactly.
This should be good for the P Town tourist industry the rest of the summer.
Nobody is going to take the ferry from downtown Boston or drive to the end of the cape if they have to mask up when they get there. They will go somewhere else instead.
These whole covid shut downs in Mass have been a boom for NH tourist industries. It just makes more people go north instead of south.
(they are equally effective in protecting against Covid....)
Provincetown. Their public restroom near the beach had an attendant working for tips. Guess why.
130 tested positive, but how many advanced to serious illness?
Indeed. Old stat but:
As the release of U.S. Census data for 2010 nears an end, so far the city with the highest proportion of same-sex couples is — surprise, surprise — Provincetown, Mass... 163 same-sex couples per 1,000 households, topping Wilton Manors, Fla., a Fort Lauderdale suburb that has 140 per 1,000... Among actual states, though, the top one is Vermont, with 10.9 per 1,000, followed by Massachusetts with 10.2 and California with 9.9- https://www.advocate.com/news/daily-news/2011/08/22/and-gayest-us-city. And thus the highest HIV rate: Rate per 100,000 1 Provincetown 11,182.9 - https://www.mass.gov/doc/what-is-the-geographic-distribution-of-the-hivaids-epidemic-in-massachusetts-december-2015-0/download
