I was a teen when Dr. Johas Salk invented the polio vaccine. My parents objected to the vaccine. I did not get it at school because of the way they felt. I examined all the evidence surrounding the vaccine and it’s effectiveness. One Sunday, after church, I passed a closed school where they were administering it. I chose to stop in and get a dose and never told my parents. There were fears then as there are today, but the media of that era were more scrupulous than they are today. Today they have no integrity. They scramble to print something, true or not, to get a headline. Kinda seedy, isn’t it?
