HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) - Former President Donald Trump's false claims of a stolen election have been debunked by the courts, his own Justice Department and scores of recounts.
But in the battleground state of Pennsylvania, where Trump lost by 80,000 votes eight months ago, they're finding new signs of life.

Sean Parnell, a candidate for U.S. Senate, said that “half the state” not trusting the election result is a problem that can be remedied with an audit, and dismissed the official state and county audits as simply “recounts" that were inadequate to investigate allegations that something went wrong.
“And now after the fact, that people are saying, ‘Hey, wait a minute, maybe there were some problems,’ they just blow us all off and say, ‘No, no, screw you, you don’t know what you’re talking about,' like, 'You’re just a bunch of crazy conspiracy theorists,’” Parnell told a radio show host Wednesday.
In Arizona, the Senate’s Republican leadership initiated the unprecedented partisan audit of votes in Maricopa County, home to Phoenix, despite the fact that the votes already had been counted, recounted and certified. The effort has been supported by many Republican state lawmakers, state party chair Kelli Ward and state Attorney General Mark Brnovich, a Republican who is running for U.S. Senate.

So many lies even in the first statement.
The courts did not debunk anything since they have never been willing to listen to evidence. Most cases dismissed on lack of standing or equivalent.
The Justice Department has never bothered to investigate, so any statements from them are simply political posturing.
Recounts are not audits. Recounting fraudulent ballots is a pointless exercise if one is looking for truth.

Auditing Arizona and Georgia is one thing, but if nothing changes in Penssylvania, Michigan or Wisconsion then a GOP electoral college victory will be another bridge too far.
in addition to that, real audits are never done by the principals who produced the work in the first place.
Can you imagine telling the IRS “no, you can’t audit my tax return. I audited it myself. Its 100% correct. Besides, cheating on your taxes almost never happens.”

Just do the audit following the law AS WRITTEN, not as decided by the PASC. Then we can see the impact of making stuff up as they go along.
The result of the election is never going to be changed due to the fully bipartisan nature of the coup. The audits are about GOTV for the midterms. That is all.
If nothing else the audits will show how we took a simple one day ish voting process and turned it in to….this.
My point is they’ll cheat again
Here in PA Tom Wolf and the Democrats block the audit while Republicans advocate for it.
Each side mobilizes its voters over this fight about an audit for the next election cycle.
Nothing can get done till after the 2022 Election in 2023 at the earliest and will there be any evidence left to uncover by then?
I don't subscribe to the argument that because they got away with cheating one time, that means they will get away with cheating every time in every election. If we believed that, we might as well just give up and leave the country because there is nothing we will ever be able to do ever again.
