I am a funeral director running his own funeral home – for the doubters this is me, I have been in the trade 15 years.
What I will say is last year the death rate was totally normal. In fact many of my colleagues turned their fridges off before Christmas because there was no one to put in them.
When we returned after Christmas, they began vaccination locally on January 6th, 2021, and the death rate immediately went through the roof. In fact, in fifteen years I’ve never seen a death rate like it.
Then as suddenly as it began it ceased. We haven’t seen a COVID19 death for three months now.
I had a government sponsored pandemic guy who used to call me every Monday he would ask me two questions: How many deceased have I collected that week where they come from? and How many were COVID19? This was in order to collect COVID19 death numbers.

One can hope, after he said that, I was real worried for that country. Lots of good people there. Plus we can’t take anymore here, we’re getting full lol.
They are starting to go after the better jobs, but my own fellow countrymen aren’t even working, many are sitting, so I take issue with that.
We need to make the Philippines a desirable place for them to live again.
My mother died of old age on May 25th. Her funeral was the only one in that particular wing of the funeral home. They were not packed.
I was commenting on the difference between creamation and cremation.
I live on the road that goes to a rural cemetery. No increase in traffic. I know the funeral home owner, no increase in business. Hmmmm. Interesting, isn’t it?
I’ll ask him about it again next time I see him. He has two businesses that should be steady. He does both taxes and funerals. Positively brilliant. The two facilities are right next door to each other. I wonder how many have caught the humor of that?
My sister-in-law works for a mortuary. Around November-December last year she said they were “slow.”
As of now, she says they’ve got the normal amount of deaths but what is odd is the majority are all younger than 50 and many of death certificates say on cause of death, “pending.” She’s never seen anything like it.
I belive it was legalized in Washington and/or Oregon.
That’s what I thought, but a buddy said in WI also. The other states are full tilt liberal headed toward CA socialism, so that’s understandable. Don’t see how such a thing would pass the Assembly or Senate in WI.

Thanks for the report. I have a good friend in the PI and will mention this to her.
