I had COVID. Middle aged guy, but very fit. It was no big deal. I slept for a week.
I have had to work in person since day one, so no sympathy from me.

I’ve been in the office since last June. You’ll be fine. I even hear coughs and sneezes all day. A few people had the jab and a few people have had the death virus.
I’d fire you just for being you. And if you don’t understand that it’s not worth explaining.
I’ve been working from home 14 years now. It’d kinda be nice to go into the office once in awhile to be around my teammates. Working from home isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
i have worked nonstop, in person since this started. i do not take flu shots or vaxxes. It i no where as big a deal as it is being made out.
You will be fine. The Covid variants, IMHO, are being completely over-blown. Death rates among healthy people are ridiculously low.
The media and government goal is to MAKE you afraid. Don’t fall for it.
It is indeed sad and scary but not for the reasons you describe. Meanwhile most of us have been going to work every day. Turn off the TV and rejoin humanity. Fear is not a virtue.

Start your own ham radio supply store. Which is most likely what you’ve been doing while getting paid for 14 months. Playing on your ham radio I mean.

I work in an office. In Nebraska. We NEVER stopped coming to work at the office EVERY DAY, just as if there was no pandemic.
