American Airlines passengers were filmed with their hands on their heads on a flight from Los Angeles to Miami on Wednesday. All passengers aboard the flight 2289 “were ordered to put their hands on their heads for 45-60 minutes before landing,” according to passenger Chris Nguyen, who filmed part of the bizarre incident:

Any stewardess can issue any arbitrary rule and enforce compliance without due process.
Break their rule, and you risk jail, financial ruin, and a lifetime travel ban.
Passenger sheep and poorly trained and abusive airline staff. I’d probably have gotten myself arrested because I can’t lift my left arm over my head.
Those trips are great. I did Carolinas to CT this winter.
Lots of ice and snow and I took the scenic route through the Poconos. I had to keep lots of water to de-ice the wipers. It was fun.
It was for work and I’m not flying in this environment.
But can’t the flight Captain overrule the stewardess?

Everytime we have flown they have ....BUT have NOT FLOWN into the SW.
This diminishes the value of awards miles. It is a breach of contract. People could sue to cash out the mileage value.

An apparently unhinged woman was duct-taped to an airplane seat last week after she allegedly attacked the flight crew and tried to open the door of the aircraft in midflight.
Video posted on social media showed the gray-haired woman with silver duct tape over her mouth, and her arms and body seemingly taped to the seat.
American Airlines confirmed the incident.
She could be heard screaming, “You! You! You!” as passengers exited American Airlines Flight 1774 past her, as flight attendants calmly nodded their goodbyes, according to the footage posted by TikTok user @lol.ariee.
The two-hour July 6 flight from Dallas-Fort Worth to Charlotte, NC, had been delayed for at least three hours before it finally departed at midnight, but about an hour into the trip, chaos broke out, @lol.ariee said in subsequent videos describing the hectic scene.
Flight attendants began turning on the lights around 1:30 a.m., she said, “and we see all flight attendants running up and down the aisles, frantically kind of like whispering to each other.”
American Airlines confirmed the incident, telling The Post the woman assaulted and bit a flight attendant after she “attempted to open the forward boarding door” and was restrained “for the safety and security of other customers and our crew.”
Emergency personnel met the flight on the ground in Charlotte, and took the woman to a local hospital, said the airline, who placed her on American’s “internal” no fly list pending an investigation.
And the witches on South West know it. I will probably be banned for my repeated calls to SWA Customer Service complaining about the Gestapo Flight Attendants. I always have a first name, flight number and some description of the evil attendant.
They listen and always tell me it is for the passenger “safety”
