NFL linebacker Barkevious Mingo pulled at a teenage boy's underwear and tried to have sex with him, according to Texas officials.
Mingo, 30, was arrested on Thursday in the Dallas suburb of Arlington and faces up to 20 years in jail if convicted.
The former No. 1 pick and Super Bowl winner in 2017 was let go by the Atlanta Falcons on Saturday after being arrested on a charge of indecency with a child-sexual contact. *** Before returning to a hotel where the NFL player was staying, Mingo reportedly took the boys to a steakhouse and bought them clothes from Nike.
According to the warrant, 'the victim was woken up by [Mingo] pulling at his underwear' later that night.
The victim said that he was 'scared and pretended to be asleep' when Mingo allegedly became more 'aggressive and pulled the victim's underwear down to his shins'.
Mingo allegedly then tried to have intercourse with the teen. ***
Mingo signed a one-year contract with the Falcons in March. He is seen playing for the Chicago Bears in November of last year.
The Falcons - who signed Mingo in March - terminated his one-year contract hours after the news of his arrest broke.

Some how this will be shown as racist instead of perverse, debased and criminal.
I guess the NFL doesn’t want to acknowledge this guy as a “gay hero” and a “brave athlete.”
So the NFL’s “Football is gay,” commercial really is true and not false advertising.

That is not going anywhere. He is a sports hero. Well, on second thought, they may get the kid for a false crime report. Kinda like Sandusky when he was buggering little boys in the shower at Penn State. Student Aids would look in the showers after hearing the boys yell as they were being buggered, turn back around, say “I did not see anything.” And walk away.
Sure, that’s the way it was when I was a youth leader, too. However, this sounds as though it was the friend of a family member who was invited to the event. That’s where the lines get blurred. Reminds me of Jerry Sandusky. It’s called grooming.
He could be innocent of these charges, but he may also be guilty of them. Time will tell.
