Answer: When people first began using HCQ and Ivermectin for COVID infection, both were being used for treatments for other diseases. Those diseases were not viral infections. HCQ works by killing the organisms that cause malaria and it also to treat rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus by decreasing the activity of the immune system. Even though it showed promise in treating COVID not much was understood how zinc played an important part in its effectiveness against COVID.

They had many other off label uses, and they were safe for even pregnant and nursing females. As for medical science, they ignored a lot of it, and even lied on other topics that medical science, such as the total lack of effectiveness of mask wearing with viruses. Which we found out from Mr. Medical Science himself, Fake Fauci, from his emails. As for the mRNA "vaccine" we have even less medical science showing its effectiveness or safety of its usage. Nice try, but further propaganda. what position do you hold in the Biden Administration?

In my mind, HCQ allowed a pathway for the zinc to enter the cell where it interfered with the transcription process. HCQ may also interfere with the docking process with the ACE-II receptor. That had to happen early on in the infection, before the virus was able to trigger the cytokine storm, which kills the victim. All the workings of HCQ had to be understood perfectly, so they can know how to use it. And everyone wanted FDA approval for it at warp speed. I am not sure, even now, if my doctor knows what the proper dose I should take if I ever needed it for Covid.

In your mind you have it wrong. Read the reality:

Zinc and HCQ

The U.S. government should have financed the clinical trials for HCQ and Ivermectin early on, but they trusted that the vaccine producers could have a better solution with their vaccines. Ivermectin is now in clinical trials. It is just that methodical thinking which many don’t understand.

They knew already, they lied because there was no money in this safe & effective tool to combat the novel coronavirus. The vaccine became important to free the people from the draconian measures being enacted in Democrat states, and apparently you fell for it hook, line, & sinker because you apparently were so afraid, thought you understood medical science, and were obvious to the scam they were running on us.

But the real important aspect, is that they know now, and the people who did studies to make the case that it was dangerous, have been thoroughly debunked. However, they still refuse to allow them to be used to combat the virus via their doctors, and insist on "vaccines" that have caused many to experience either debilitating conditions to death of people of all ages in all types of physical conditions prior to taking the jab, yet they are still pushing the unproven "vaccines". Wake up my FRiend.

I talked to my doctor about Ivermectin. He said I could not get a prescription for it through the Kaiser Permanente system. None of the doctors would prescribe it because it is still in clinical trials. How can that be? Ivermectin is having miraculous results in other parts of the world. Medical science is very methodical. They learned during the 80s when the malpractice lawsuits were epidemic, that increased caution in medical treatment was essential. Malpractice insurance went sky high. I suspect that lawsuits against Phizer and Moderna are in the works right now

You need to find another doctor, and quickly. Because the manufactures and everyone prescribing and promoting the "vaccines" are not subject to lawsuits, because we are in the midst of the largest "vaccine" trial ever carried out in the country, no, made that the world. Again, wake up, but more importantly learn that you are not nearly as smart as you believe yourself to be, when it comes to this virus or these "vaccines"because you have not researched this as completely as many others on this board have done. You got your "vaccines" and you didn't have magnets stick to you. What a lame & stuoid retort you offered my FRiend.

No, I am not a Dem. I have been a Republican since Richard Nixon. I have been an elected Republican Precinct Officer for 17 years and have risen to be GOP Vice Chair of my legislative district. My understanding of the virus and the vaccines has been a self-taught hobby. I still have a lot to learn. Nothing is 100% perfect for me. The harsh treatment I get when FReepers get mad because it is not in line with the anti-vaxx narrative is a good thing. When I am fighting against the Leftnicks in the Seattle area, I need to be tough.

So you are a RINO, even worse. Did you hate Donald J. Trump like the rest of the RINOs?

Answer: They want to take the virus to the same place that they took Measles, Mumps, Smallpox, Polio, Chicken Pox,Tetanus, Hepatitis B (soon to be eliminated in the U.S.), Hepatitis A (soon to be eliminated in the U.S.), Rubella, Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib), Whooping Cough, Pneumococcal Disease, Haemophilus influenzae type b, and Diphtheria. Vaccines have been one of the greatest accomplishments of mankind. I can hardly wait to see how this mRNA/lipid nanoparticle technology plays out in personalized cancer vaccines and other diseases, now in clinical trials.

The Covid vaccines have shown their effectiveness with the New Delta Variant striking only unvaccinated people. I could have used the word “mostly” but this is how it is being described. If this new strain lacks the morbidity, that would be good because of the natural immunity effect.

Yeah, that is why there have been more deaths from people who have taken the "vaccines" than those who haven't taken any "vaccine". So there is no proof the "vaccines" have had a positive or negative effect on the virus.

From your link: “Zinc is a decidedly anti-viral mineral. High intracellular concentrations inhibit the replication of RNA type viruses, such as SARS-CoV-2. Zinc does this by blocking RNA-dependent RNA polymerase, the core enzyme of their multiprotein replication and transcription complex that is critical for the copying of viral RNA.”

From my post: “In my mind, HCQ allowed a pathway for the zinc to enter the cell where it interfered with the transcription process.” I didn’t mention the action of the RNA-dependent RNA polymerase, because I wanted to keep it simple. The virus’s RNA being transcripted by the ribosome leaves the ribosome and goes to the RNA-dependent RNA polymerase to synthecize multiple copies of the RNA which uses the polyproteins given off by the ribosome to duplicate multiple copies of the Covid virus. I didn’t think you wanted to read all of that. There is actually more to it than that. It can get boring.

The messenger RNA method has had 50 years of research going into it. According to Robert Langer, the David H. Koch Institute Professor at MIT, a member of the Koch Institute, and one of the founders of Moderna, “With traditional vaccines, you have to do a lot of development. You need a big factory to make the protein, or the virus, and it takes a long time to grow them. The beauty of mRNA is that you don’t need that. If you inject nanoencapsulated mRNA into a person, it goes into the cells, and then the body is your factory. The body takes care of everything else from there.”

Langer has spent decades developing novel ways to deliver medicines, including therapeutic nucleic acids such as RNA and DNA. In the 1970s, he published the first study showing that it was possible to encapsulate nucleic acids, as well as other large molecules, in tiny particles and deliver them into the body. (Work by MIT Institute Professor Phillip Sharp and others on RNA splicing, which also laid groundwork for today’s mRNA vaccines, began in the ’70s as well.)

“It was very controversial at the time,” Langer recalls. “Everybody told us it was impossible, and my first nine grants were rejected. I spent about two years working on it, and I found over 200 ways to get it to not work. But then eventually I did find a way to get it to work.”

That paper, which appeared in Nature in 1976, showed that tiny particles made of synthetic polymers could safely carry and slowly release large molecules such as proteins and nucleic acids. Later, Langer and others showed that when polyethylene glycol (PEG) was added to the surface of nanoparticles, they could last in the body for much longer, instead of being destroyed almost immediately.

In subsequent years, Langer, Anderson, and others have developed fatty molecules called lipid nanoparticles that are also very effective at delivering nucleic acids. These carriers protect RNA from being broken down in the body and help to ferry it through cell membranes. Both the Moderna and Pfizer RNA vaccines are carried by lipid nanoparticles with PEG.

“Messenger RNA is a large hydrophilic molecule. It doesn’t naturally enter cells by itself, and so these vaccines are wrapped up in nanoparticles that facilitate their delivery inside of cells. This allows the RNA to be delivered inside of cells, and then translated into proteins,” Anderson says.

In 2018, the FDA approved the first lipid nanoparticle carrier for RNA, which was developed by Alnylam Pharmaceuticals to deliver a type of RNA called siRNA. Unlike mRNA, siRNA silences its target genes, which can benefit patients by turning off mutated genes that cause disease.

One drawback to mRNA vaccines is that they can break down at high temperatures, which is why the current vaccines are stored at such cold temperatures. Pfizer’s SARS-CoV-2 vaccine has to be stored at -70 degrees Celsius (-94 degrees Fahrenheit), and the Moderna vaccine at -20 C (-4 F). One way to make RNA vaccines more stable, Anderson points out, is to add stabilizers and remove water from the vaccine through a process called lyophilization, which has been shown to allow some mRNA vaccines to be stored in a refrigerator instead of a freezer.

The striking effectiveness of both of these Covid-19 vaccines in phase 3 clinical trials (roughly 95 percent) offers hope that not only will those vaccines help to end the current pandemic, but also that in the future, RNA vaccines may help in the fight against other diseases such as HIV and cancer, Anderson says.

I guess when I tell this factual information, you want to reject it because it does not fit the anti-vaxx narrative. I say get the politics out of the science. Let’s share what we know is true and learn from it.
