Southeast's Largest Newspaper Commands You to Keep Being Terrified of COVID

The new school year is about to start, and we can't have people walking around without being paralyzed by fear.

As we are now well into July, plans for the 2021–2022 school year are ramping up. For many school systems, the first day of school is less than one month away. Given this, and in order to make sure that the government schools maintain as much control as possible over American children, the COVID-worshiping media are again ramping up the Wuhan Virus panic porn. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC) is no exception.

With an opinion piece entitled, "To mask or not to mask: Why's that even a question in schools?," the AJC's chief education writer, Maureen Downey, bemoans the fact that "[a]lmost all Georgia school districts will leave it to parents to decide whether their kids wear masks when they return to school next month." In addition to its authoritarian tone, Ms. Downey's lengthy column is rooted in three false premises: 1) unvaccinated children are in danger from the Wuhan Virus, 2) there's a "new COVID variant" that places children in new danger, and 3) masks work.

There's a mountain of data (much of it chronicled here and here) that reveal that masks and lockdowns are unnecessary (and often dangerous) when it comes to slowing or preventing the spread of the Wuhan Virus and that children — vaccinated or not — are in very little to no danger from the Wuhan Virus. As far back as August of last year, the data made clear that children were in virtually zero danger from the Wuhan Virus.

Numerous school districts across the U.S. — especially private schools, and especially those in GOP-led states — did not shut down, did not mandate masks or social distancing, and had no Wuhan Virus–related problems.

Accept our “NEW” communism or you are doomed to fry in glowbull warming while coughing up your COVID-infected lungs.

This whole COVID thing did now work out like they had planned. Ever wonder what will come next?

The problem with this presumption that everything virus is media generated and designed to undermine conservative thought is how many are dying in other countries. Personally, I’m somewhat confident that the morgues in Moscow are not filling up right now in an attempt to deceive Americans. I don’t think any of these other countries give a damn what American political thought is.

It is July. The death count last year was very low throughout the American summer. It’s not particularly different this year, and last winter we were clocking in at 4400 deaths per day. Winter is coming once again. The virus doesn’t care who is afraid of it. Another thing that doesn’t matter is PCR cycle count and attribution of death. Just ignore all that stuff and look at Excess Deaths of all causes and how about 20 to 25% more people over age 65 died last year than the average of the previous four years. That’s the gold standard.

Sorry to disagree with you, but it worked out well enough for them. Sippy Cup Joe was installed.

Sorry, FamiliarFace. I should have been more clear in my post, but ... lack of java. I had more in my sleepy head about how the public reacted to it rather than Sippy Cup (I like it!).

I posted elsewhere yesterday or the day before: “I believe the virus was created and intentionally unleashed on the public. I believe it was done because of President Trump. Further, that a vaccine was already concocted and waiting in the shadows. And I wouldn’t trust the media to tell me squat about a virus or a vaccine for it.”

The correct name for the named newspaper is:
“The Hotlanta Urinal and Constipation”.

.....what did the beloved late Rush Limbaugh often call this rag...? the Atlanta Urinal-Constipation......if this rag pretending to be a legitimate newspaper published stories about the sun coming up in the east, I’d start looking west.....

Yup—Covid “vaccines” are a beta test.

They are trying different advertising/pressure tactics/coercion to see what influences the sheeple and what the sheeple will put up with...

The sociopaths are in charge—no doubt about it anymore.

It _is_ happening here.

Thanks, cgbg.

“They are trying different advertising/pressure tactics/coercion to see what influences the sheeple and what the sheeple will put up with...”

Yep, and gotta admit it: that’s some weird sh** right there. Read somewhere that a state was giving 150 buckaroos to be jabbed. Hell, if they’d throw in a house with a very fancy kitchen and a pool, and 2 cars of my choosing, I might go for it. (Not.)

There will be a rise in deaths when doctor offices close so people can’t get physicals, cancer screenings and the rest. Then you have the rise in suicides.

This is all driven by the Teacher’s Unions - In Chicago, the decision has not yet been made to go back to a full week in the classroom. The Union still feels “unsafe”

But they feel safe enough to go shopping, eat in restaurants, etc.

That is my price.

Been thought of and proposed. Largely shot down. There is no measurement of those effects, just as there is no measurement of the opposing effects — of misdiagnosing a problem when people DO go to the doc and get the wrong treatment, and of course when they do go to the doc and get a test they suffer anxiety awaiting test results, the stress from which is hypertensive.

Frankly, the only big increase in death rates last year for 65+ that was NOT Covid was the ongoing multi year increase in opioid deaths. These happen even at 65+, and they are happening more each day. Small numbers compared to the virus, but they do happen. (Factored into the Excess Death curves)
