It seems like it took a few seconds for the fellow laying on the pavement to realize that he weren’t ded after all . . . it has to be a heck of a thing to watch a handgun go off in close proximity to your head and live to tell the tale.

I’m just wondering if he has enrolled in the nearest seminary yet . . .

However, when I was stationed at Clark Air Base in the Philippines there was a Filipino that was shot dead the next day after being crucified for his sins - he returned to his old trade of breaking and entering.

That driver is a smart man/woman. He/she did not try to talk the “robber” to death. Hadhis firearm out and ready by the time the “robber” got to his car, opened fire and drove off.
Excellent tactic.
But wait, now I am going back and put Robber in quotations :)

It looked like a shoulder hit that impacted the mid-spine section.

The robber can raise his arms, but his legs and lower body do not move at all.

It would be interesting to see the next one minute of that video. Maybe the sidekick will take up a new line of work.

Did see some lower body movement at the very, very end of the clip. Outside of a potential body hit, it looked like he got beaned on the head by a round - noticed he pawed the front part of the helmet as he went down. Like being whapped by a Louisville Slugger. Laying there with koo koo birds circling above like a Warner Brothers cartoon.

Agreed - note how the perp's right arm goes instantly limp, dropping the pistol.

I think the muzzle flash is being reflected at an angle by the rear side window of the car, making it seem like the shots went high.
