The left is showing us how seemingly ordinary, everyday people can acquire the mentality of an Einsatzgruppen trigger man. I was once truly puzzled about how the SS could recruit so many soldiers to operate the death camps, but now I’ve seen it happen in my own country. The veneer of civilized man is paper thin and totalitarianism rips it away in the blink of an eye.
The veneer of civilization is indeed thin. The leftists might want to consider that that fact could be turned on them as well.
