He’s either an idiot or playing CYA. Difficult to come up with any other good reason for him to do this. If your lawyer says don’t talk, you don’t talk.

Probably a combination of both. Only a fool that is soon to be an incarcerated fool or rat informant says anything to the American Gestapo, A/K/A. FBI other than,
‘I request legal representation.” I also understand that members of Free Republic love, worship, and adore the FBI. I know this from reading the laudatory comments praising FBI Director Comey before and as he was explaining why he refused to indict one Hillary Clinton for her crimes.

Rhodes was demonized by the FBI as a bad guy but note he has not been arrested.
Why not?
I say its because he informs for them but its just a sense I have of him based on previous situations he and his outfit have been involved in.
